Croatian media are crap but Vecernji is rather good at guessing where Croatian players will end up. As I already said, they broke Lovren to Liverpool news and were among the first ones to report Mandzukic to Atletico. It's not just a rumour, they're pretty certain that Kovacic played his last game for Inter. Also, Dasović is one of better sports journalist in Croatia and I doubt he'd spout shit like this if he didn't have a reliable info.

There's not much else the management can do but deny it and extend Kova's contract - both of which have happened. And the rumors aren't really that persistent, since it's the same source being cited in every case.
