Well what did you expect? You thought he would suggest that you 2 grab a quiet spot, so you can intensively discuss the transfers for the upcoming period?!

A smile is fair enough. If I would have asked that, I wouldn't be surprised if he said " Who the fuck are you again?" :p But I've heard a lot that he is very well mannered guy.

lol I am not saying I expected him to invite me to meeting with braca and shit but atleast say somethin like we will, wont or nod your fkn head! lol but he is a kind guy and friendly with the fans :)

Ofcourse we can't rely on luck. I never implied we should.

As for Moratti, and how he is handling it, we will see I guess. He hasn't spoken yet, we'll see what he will say in his next interview.

Probably you should have just throw the names of the players. I'm sure, he would get the idea ;)

ps. I envy you about this pic :/ Had myself a pic with Giacinto, but I badly want to complete the set, and get a pic with MM some day. Hope it will happen.

You have no idea what I had to do to get that fkn pic lol This was when he came to Bahrain to present last season's trophies, I was chasing him all around the mall and really didnt care for figo and toldo who were present as well lol

Finally Moratti has spoken:

He said he doesn't want to create a problem before or during the CWC. He also said that he will NOT ACCEPT ANY EXCUSES because Inter MUST win the tournament.

He thinks the squad needs psychological support at this moment more than anything else.

He also said "we'll see after Club World Cup". Moratti is pissed with Benitez and would've fired him several weeks ago hadn't it been for the World Cup. My prediction is that we have a new coach by New Year.

Morati said

“I feel betrayed,” blasted Inter President Massimo Moratti. “Rafa Benitez has to show character and win the Club World Cup. No alibis.”

The patron had said he didn’t want any more “embarrassing” evenings in the Champions League, but saw his men thrashed 3-0 by Werder Bremen last night.

“I don’t want to create problems before the Club World Cup and we’ll see what is to be done after that tournament,” a livid Moratti told Sky Sport Italia.

“I had a feeling we’d lose against Werder, but I certainly didn’t expect it to be this bad.

“I feel betrayed, as I always do when we lose a game in such an obvious way. I took it very badly, but I don’t think the players did it on purpose. Perhaps they felt the tension of their next appointment a bit too much.”

Many have suggested Benitez will be sacked if he doesn’t win the Club World Cup in a convincing manner and Moratti’s comments fuelled those rumours.

“There are no alibis for this tournament. It is a trophy we absolutely must win. Benitez has to show character, otherwise he won’t win the Club World Cup. That’s not an ultimatum, I’m just saying it is very important.

“I think the players could do with some psychological support at this moment and Benitez has to find a way to fix this season.”

I fear Rafa will get more time with CWC victory. But I surely hope he will get fired after the CWC. Perfect time for the sack on the other hand. CWC's level is so low even Rafa can get us win there. Then we have a break and new coach has time to adapt. Hopefully you do the right thing Massimo.

we win the CWC by playing very low , winning with a shitty 1-0 in the final , or in extra-time or at penalties ...and then Massimo sacks Benitez and brings in Carletto ....that would be a dream

Internacional isn't a easy team, I sure was impressed by them when they won the Copa Libertadores, as I closely followed that final because we already knew we would play against them

This is the biggest challenge we have, they play at a very high tempo, and defend very well, if we win that tournament, it will be because of the players, not because of big ben...

They barely beat Chivas. Doubt they'll be much trouble. Although our current squad...ugh...

SE SALTELLI....
tmw...

Up to 18.45 plus or minus one could only speculate what was the thought of Moratti. Soon after it was all much clearer. Gave voice to his thoughts that told of a president who would not even angry answer the phone.
Then he subsided a bit 'anger, but his words were heavy, however, indicative.
Benitez's future does not depend on either the World club. From the victory. It can go away regardless. That's why the names, which to date had been set aside (both victories over Twente and Parma for the trust company) a huge comeback. Capello, Spalletti, Leonardo and Zenga. In strict order of rating. Then you try again with the coach of the England team. What had been at the top of the post you wish to Inter Mourinho. Then Spalletti: because in Italy he tried to thwart the Inter before going on to win in Russia. But must be done to release both a treaty and should be pulled out of the money. The easiest way (if there was the will) is one that leads to Leonardo. Free. But Milan's weblog. And last Zenga, Inter heart that no longer can. Benitez to remain as coach of Inter will win big the world, not just win. The feeling is that Rafa will have to prove that he is the team on his side, to give a soul to this Inter, show the President that his project is successful. In short, do everything so far failed to do to get to the bottom Moratti to be the right man to continue the cycle-winning Mancini Mourinho.
In the meantime he also thinks the market, before leaving for Abu Dhabi. Meeting with Genoa yesterday morning market for men. There has been talk of frogs: assessing the second half of 11 million €. There has been talk of negotiations to enter into the middle of the card's interesting that young people are using now as Benitez and Crisetig Alibech or the right half (now at Genoa). If this deal does not go into port, ready alternative: Agger of Liverpool. You could also outline an exchange with Santon (or Muntari Mariga or not displease Hodgson). Genoa while Britos tip (which, having scored twice in a row becomes more expensive). About Bologna striker Marco Di Vaio has requested nearly half-set A. On Friday Bologna players will make the formal notice, but the top scorer for the moment just think the salvation of his team. So beyond the polls Inter, Milan, Juve will have to wait ... The real "war market" between the two Milanese is on Erik Lamela. Braida also saw the match against Estudiantes River where even the new phenomenon of Argentine football has been more (0-4 after less than an hour of play) ... Inter are ready to make an offer. You will still be an arrival in June, has not seen that yet in the hands of the EU passport. Galliani, before the debacle at home against Ajax, said that a
striker is not any though. And then waiting to see how the story will evolve Cassano (Friday will be the first hearing) Paloschi attention to that while it was aggregated with the group, however, in anticipation of a ransom that was scheduled for June.
Also in June is the goal that has monitored Cluj Naples: Lacina Traore, attacking the Romanian team. E 'extra, why not get right. Three rumors from abroad: Adriano and Ronaldinho affecting the Palmeiras, Dzeko making peace with society and with his coach: Wolfsburg's proposed renewal (Juve still hope, but it is promised to Bayern) and Mourinho would like Eto'o in his Real.
A Moratti was missing only this. Mourinho as well as take away the spirit of Inter winning the man to take away even his goal ...

I don't know, Internacional should be respected. The tournament is not a "go there and get the trophy" tournament, regardless of any circumstance.

I see your fear as legitimate, but in that prospect I believe it will only happen if Moratti considers that there are no valid alternatives.

Anyway, the dread of not winning CWC and becoming a laughing stock is hauting me....

Good for Moratti. Rafa knows the pressure is on to bring home the CWC. Even if he does win it, I'm not convinced he'll keep his job for long.

MORATTI FURIOUS. THE WORLD CUP WON'T BE ENOUGH.

Inter president: "I feel betrayed. Win the Club World Cup then we will see. The coach must have character and hold the team."

5434d008f584f0af1291882.jpg

MORATTI NAILS BENITEZ.

And also about the players: "They also need psychological support."

Milan - "I feel betrayed, like every time that we lose. But now there are no excuses: we have to win the Club World Cup." And Benitez? "I do not want to create problems before or during the Club World Cup." And then? "We'll see." The "then" is a loud signal.

Fault and evidence Massimo Moratti is angry and annoyed. And at 18:35 of yesterday which was a rough day, he started to hammer Benitez. Yes, we are at the limits of confidence. Massimo Moratti was shocked and stunned not because of the loss in Bremen but the way it happened. And no one is excluded. "I did not say anything to the players. I would say that things went wrong psychologically and as an Interista, I did not like it." There is a deafening aftertaste in his words. Rafa is at fault and the players are trying to collect more reliable evidence, and the most obvious one was in Bremen.

A psychologist please The team did not show up. Perhaps because it was insensitive to the words of the president. Perhaps it was frightened to the curse of the biceps femoris. "The World Cup is an important objective," as he is holding an umbrella in his right hand. "Everything that has happened happened because the players felt constrained by this tournament. They became more cautions than usual." Cautions. So ambulatory. An Inter that did not seem like Inter. "Now it needs a big psychological support because the players will resume doing what they did before and have always been able to do. I think right now there is a need in character to overcome the obstacles." Now the team is without sparks. When will Rafa will give it to the team? Doubts. Because the coach was asked the day before but it couldn't be seen or felt. That was not Inter. Period.

Hands in team now or never And here is another big problem. Does Rafa have his hands in this team? What is next? It is a big question which has been bouncing since the derby when the same question was asked to Rafa and he said: "It does not matter who is on the bench. The players want to win like me." Now the final moment has arrived. It must happens in Abu Dhabi, one way or another. "Benitez must have character, because otherwise we won't win the World Cup." Benitez will be surrounded by thousands of questions about him and Inter at the tournament. "Benitez has to hold the team together because everything must work like a good watch." Will he succeed?

Ultimatum Nine days from today to steer and change direction. Moratti said this before Twente: "Ultimatum for Benitez? No, the World Cup is an important goal and I will not create problems for anyone. I do not want to create problems before or during but after we will see." And then there is "after".

Take me there And then, all of this will count heavily on the pride of Inter which will play at Abu Dhabi to close a dreamy 2010 from the Scudetto to the triumphant night in Madrid. The players know that their hearts, feet and heads will have to be at their peak to play in a tournament that many of them have once in a lifetime chance. They will do it for themselves, the club, and Moratti. Because president asked for this tournament just a few days after the Champions League. "Take me there," he said. No kidding. Now here we are.:proud:
