Maicon looked quite well after his comeback, same for Forlan. Well, Forlan has played little but still he showed that he's a boost in our attack, so we will have more options. Not sure about Sneijder though. He has been off since a while, and also doesn't seem to come back till next year so that's a bit worrying in my opinion. There's still a lot time till 22 Feb but I think things are looking better with Maicon's and Forlan's comeback, and also we will probably sign some decent player in January (like example Montolivo, Farfan). :D

Can discuss that in French League thread. But yes, they've struggled like hell and can say that they got a lucky win in the late mins.

I dont mean to sound arrogant but this Marseille team just dont scare me. They've got great individual players and yes they are capable of beating us but we have a better team by far. The Inter defence kept the likes of Hazard and Sow quiet and last year kept Ribery quiet. The only thing I'm slightly worried about is the pace of Valbuena, Remy, Ayew but really we should be too strong for them. :challenge:

Does Marseille have an english-speaking forum? Would be intereresting to read what they think about the game from their perspective.

Ehhh i somewhat agree, but our offensive struggles might be a problem..........right now our defense is in fabulous form, which is why i think you're not worried, but that doesn't mean a defensive mistake can happen and we fall 1-0 to another extremely gritty team.

Now we do have people coming back from injury which should good enough for us, I still think we need to take Marseille seriously cuz of their quietly gifted roster.

They will be laughing all they want because they think we're the easiest to beat for them. But, as it is closer to february, they will start crying because we're gonna be scaring all over their faces and shitting on them.

At this point us being knocked out would not negatively affect me. I'd be more surprised if we actually won. Marseille isn't a bad draw, nor is it a great one. Its down the middle for me, and they way we are playing, I'm not filled with much confidence. Maybe we can pull off a smash and grab who knows. The worst thing that could happen is the game finishes 0-0 and we fail to score ( which is incredibly likely )...

^ yeah but your saying that in a bad manner, a 0-0 draw on the away leg isn't bad especially with the way we've been winning games lately it'd be exactly what CR wants and will probably play for

Didn't find any english speaking forum, guess there aren't that many fans outside of France. However I did find a french speaking forum. I'll post some quotes translated for you:

Right after the UCL draws were official
It's over for you (Inter)!
Then basically some questions about whether Forlan can play (yes) and when the official game dates are.

Frankly speaking, Inter is not something special.
The most complicated draw for Inter. Every other opponent would have been a formality for Inter, but with OM it's just bad luck for them (Inter)

I don't see much chance in eliminating them (Inter). Inter is the kind of team you think you can handle but in the end they hit you to the ground. Let's pray.
Shit, I'd rather play against AC Milan, the club that all the Marseille fans hate the most. Too bad, Forza OM, i think we'll qualify.
Let's not forgeit their(Inter) history. I prefer to play against Inter though since they don't seem to be as strong as they once were.
Of all the possible draws Inter is the one I've most hoped for. Not untouchable but they (Inter) are favorites. We have more chance to succeed as an underdog.
I've never supported Inter and for me even Milan is a more respectable club. I'll have double the pleasure now if we qualify and throw Inter out of the competition

And my personal favourite
hard draw, but doable. We'll have to sign a very good forward to win that one. We'll have to cut the connection between Forlan and Sneijder. Pandev and co. are all very good players. I hope too that Milito doesn't play. Aller OM!

Thanks Deva!

Is Milito still considered good around the world?! I often wonder how much some people watch of us before commenting on our team.

LOL I fucking died reading the Pandev comment........that kid made our attack seem 34534 times better than it actually is, although i do agree with him about one that.

I also hope Milito doesn't play :yao:
