Zlatan seemed to have been a great teammate, too. People often omit that from their memories. He was genuinely happy for his teammates scoring etc. It only became "toxic" in some parts of his final season and at times under Mancini's last season.


Sure he was full of himself, but he knew how to communicate that. Unlike Lukaku for example who was forcing everything and it showed, wanted to run to the goalscorer and be part of whatever picture was going to be taken and all that fake persona nonsebse. Zlatan's persona was/is unique and charismatic, even if lots of people hated it.

Don't think Arnautovic is anything like them. Just a typical "bad boy" attitude that lots of Balkanites have. That's an innate trait, can't fault him.

I mention him because Zlatan is being portrayed in the way Lukaku behaves. And it's clear that they're nothing alike. People cannot compute several categories of behavior and lump everything into one "I hate whatever this is, hence it's part of category A that I tend to hate". It's why we have polarization everywhere. It's either great or shit. It's either right or left in politics and whatever other thing you can think of.

We have three different categories of people here, yet you'd think based on comments that's all one character.
