Not dreadful if that's all it is. We can afford to drop points at least once.
Atalanta is in excellent form but I’d be quite disappointed if we didn’t take max points from Lecce.

Without Thuram, these two matches will be a test. Lecce, 13th in the table and it's away followed by an in form Atalanta at home.

I'd probably take it as easy as possible. If Thuram doesn't make it back until the Bologna game, fine. We have two super winnable games and a "bonus" game (I'm gonna keep calling it a bonus game under the circumstances) so we should be able to weather things well enough up to that point. Bologna's gonna be a bitch; not only have they obviously gotten a draw and a cup win against us already this season, but they're 6-4-2 this season against top-half opponents this season. Their only losses came against Milan on the first match day of the season and on their away trip to Florence...22 points from 12 games. They're even scoring goals now; 10 goals in their last three games. It's hard to expect a win there at this point, but if we're 9-12 points clear of the field, one D/L won't be the end of the world, especially because Milan have games against Atalanta and @Lazio before the break and Juve play @Napoli and Atalanta as well, so chances for points being dropped exist for them in equal manner. In other words - of course I could be wrong - I don't expect either of them to get 100% points in their last four games leading into the last break.

(Bit OT, but I typed Atalanta a lot in that post...they're in great form right now, no doubt, but their schedule coming up is: @Milan, @ Inter, Bologna, @Juve, Fiorentina, @Napoli, and their record vs. top-10 opponents [unlike Bologna] is an unsightly 2-2-6 so far this season...things are about ramp the hell up on them.)

Yeah definitely should not rush the guy. There are so much to play in this season still.

Not that it's directly related, but this is why I wanted more rotations in the match against Salernitana. Salernitana is horrible and there was no need to play our starting forwards and midfielders from the start. Inzaghi needs to be more careful, specially with Toro and Thuram. I do not trust Arna and Sanchez to replace these two in the crucial matches.

If we win Atalanta and Bologna without Thuram, we are winning this Scudetto no matter what. They play as good as Napoli or Lazio should, so they are not to be underestimated

No doubt. 100% points from now until the break means we're a minimum of 12 points ahead (likely more) with a very soft league schedule to finish...we'd have to lose four games or draw in six (or some combo thereof) of the remaining nine games (in addition to Milan or Juve being perfect) to lose that lead, and that just isn't gonna happen.

The scenario for a Scudetto clinching win at San Siro "away" to Milan is entirely on the table right now.

If we can win one of the Lecce or Atalanta games without Thuram then we'll be fine.

Inter Milan have announced that Marcus Thuram has suffered an elongation of his right thigh adductor.

So he can come back for Bologna match. Play 30min there, good prep for the Atletico match.
I've read that he will miss 3 games, and the idea is to be on the bench against Bologna, and to be ready for Atletico.

It should be at 100% in the key game against Atletico.
