Inter centre-back Marco Materazzi has berated former team-mate Amantino Mancini after the midfielder poured venom on the Italian champions in the wake of his loan switch to city rivals Milan on transfer deadline day.

“He said he can breathe a different atmosphere at Milanello and I think he could have really spared that,” Materazzi told Il Corriere dello Sport newspaper.

I thought Materrazzi was really one kind of shithead when he engineered Zidane's send-off. The guy is a gangster. But I'm now an Inter fan so it's good that we have this gangster on our team. I think a lot of strikers would be very careful when playing against him, so they can't play at their best without worrying when a leg will come from somewhere and hit them in the balls.
