As for the next season, do you think matrix will be partnered with Cordoba in the centre of the defense? When this partnership were introduced by Cuper back on 2001, I think that both were good and completing each other holes.

You want to drop our best defender?? How can you even think of dropping Samuel. Samuel and JZ are the only 2 gurantees in the back 4 the rest will have to fight it out for the other cd spot and maxwell and grosso will have to fight it out for the lb spot.

For me there is only one question in our defense for next season. Will Mancini choose either Matrix or Cordoba to play next to Samuel? I would prefer to see Cordoba and Samuel becuase they have a good understanding of each other and played well together last year.

Our defense is our best position for strength and depth. Starting will be Grosso, Samuel, Cordoba, Zanetti and we will have good back up players like Maxwell, Materazzi, Burdisso, Andreolli, Maicon

Matrix, Burdisso, Maicon and Maxwell can try prove themselves to be better this seaeson. But there's no way we can bench Samuel or JZ. Grosso also is a clear no. 1 option since Maxwell needs quite few months to get back even near the past form. And Codroba, he just is one of the guys who I can't see Inter without.

Eventhough, Matrix is my favourite of the Cb's by a mile, I don't have no question with who should start first. Cordoba lost his form at the second half of the season, but he's a great defender still.

Anyway, our first and second choice defenders are pretty much as same strenght when all are inform, so no problem actually.

Yeah, I agree. He even came on French Television once and debated Interior Minister Sarcosy who is supposed to be the next PM. He is really intelligent and respected.

Oh and, we all know Materazzi said something to Zidane; that is a given. However, Zidane acted in a barbaric manner, and should rightfully be punished.

The whole issue stems from the fact that it was Zidane who over-reacted. If the tables were turned, and it was Matrix who appropriated violence as a response to Zidane's criticism, then, my gut opinion is that nobody would be standing up for the guy.

The question is, would you even care?

If he said something racist then Zidane would have said so. He didn't he denied it. And on the mother thing, materrazi is hardly the first profesional sports man to insult somebody else's family. It happens all the time. as the saying goes sticks and stone may break my bones but words can never harm me.
