MARCO ANDREOLLI

Country: Italy
Birthday: 10.06.1986
Position: Defender
Height: 187 cm

One of our very own, Marco Andreolli has played 3 matches for Inter till date and was particularly impressive against Rangers in yesterday's CL match.

He played at RB, but I think he wud be more at home in the centre of defense. He shud play more and along with Potenza he has the potential to make it big for Inter in the days to come.

Forza Andreolli :)

With regards to yesterdays injury, some good news from www.inter.it

APPIANO: NO FRACTURE FOR ANDREOLLI

.... Marco Materazzi and Marco Andreolli did not train this morning after suffering injuries in last night's Matchday 6 tie. Materazzi underwent medical tests to assess the entity of his left knee injury, while Andreolli rested. The young defender, who against Rangers made his European debut, had initial medical tests last night and has sustained no fractures to his ankle. He will undergo further tests in the coming days.

:star:

Lets hope for the best !!!

Well we should get Potenza back and Hopefully them guys can take over the defence when Capitano or Cafe retire. BTW How is Pasquale? he could be useful when Favalli retires. No Wome!

Pasquale is doing very well for Parma this season. He had god games against us as well. And I also got this info, after I visited the Parma forum. Still, it doesn't mean that he's good to start for us. But may be he could become a back up player {I doubt he would want that though}.

As for Potenza, how's he doing ??

From Sky ...

Potenza has played in 10 of Mallorca's 14 matches this season, starting in 9.

thatz just bout all i can get, this year we r not getting Live LaLiga in India so my Spanish following has been cut down

I saw him one match at the start of the season ... he did moderately. But then it was vs Barca.

But no idea how he has progressed ever since

Andreolli was impressive against Rangers until he picked up the injury. I also think he's more suited to the center of defense but he did an admirable job in Il Capitano's place. One youngster I think we should keep instead of loaning out. Him and Burdisso could be our starting CB duo in a couple years. :)

Our youngsters have an unbelievable bad luck. First it was Nicola Beati who looked like emerging in the first team, then he picks up a bad injury.

Now it's Andreolli who seemed like a fantastic youngster (rarely you see a youngster with such calm and stability), and now this happens.

That's a pity, he seemed to be a very promising youngster, he's 21 I think.
Do you know when he's gonna be back?

And we shouldn't forget the slightly less unknown Matteo Lombardo who was showing great promise for the Primavera team last season but then suffered quite a bad injury. Should be back now though...

TRAINING: ANDREOLLI WITH SQUAD

Preparations for Wednesday evening's Serie A Week 24 trip to Florence continued with an afternoon training session. After a warm-up the squad performed tactical and ball possession exercises then continued in groups. Those who played against Chievo at the weekend concluded with some aerobic work, while the others performed rapidity exercises and played a practice match on a reduced-size pitch.

Marco Andreolli was back with the squad for today's workout, while Giuseppe Favalli did an individual session of strengthening work.

:)

Really pray he makes a quick recovery ... damm those bloody Scots.

Good news. Hope he is on his way to recovery and is able to perform just as well before he picked the injury up. :)
