Here's a thought - don't treat your players like shit.
Brozo has not been treated like shit. Do u think he didn't know that Inter wants to make the sale? I'm pretty sure he was informed in advance. Its also pretty clear its all about money. Otherwise, Brozovic could have told the managers that he has zero intentions of leaving and that would be the end of it, cause why talk to others, if the player won't leave. He saw the money thrown at him and got interested, thats all there is.

idk why is Perisic even talking about ''Z''. He was treated very well here, even got a fair offer to renew... He should rather concentrate on his failure in his dream league at his loser club.
Treated well? Then why did he say you don't keep one of your best players waiting on contract renewal last minute.

should we renew players quicker? Yes... Was he treated bad at Inter? No... Was the offer he got from Inter good? Yes, it was actually better than what he deserved.... Players are treated bad when they get frozen out of the team, or when they don't receive their salaries, not cause you don't renew.

Two things;

1. I, and we all seemingly, hate the way Marotta treats player sales. We saw it with Skriniar, we see it now with Brozo; loyal, fundamental players are treated like numbers on a piece of paper, with no regard for their position or importance within the club.
This largely comes down to Zhang's horrendous management, but still, he's always done business that way, also at Juventus.

2. Even so, no matter how you look at the above (and I'm fucking furious at Marotta and Zhang for pushing Brozo out) Inter had an agreement with Al-Nassr, Brozovic wanted more money, Al-Nassr caved in, then went back on their deal with Inter. That's fucking scummy and in no way Marotta's fault. Fuck them, we had a clear agreement. If you can afford to pay a human being 100 million over three years, you can afford a one-time payment of 23 million.

They shouldn't have pushed out Brozovic to begin with, but this new development is all on Al-Nassr.

Best-case scenario, we leave the negotiations and Brozo honors that contract and plays for us untill 2026 as agreed.

That's his fault. He made it clear he was going to leave, wanted EPL. Then he changed his mind after we had bought Gosens. We needed time to remodel our plan, but Perisic probably felt hurt that he was no longer our priority.

Absolutely ridiculous transfer fee, but not surprising.
How about €15m plus add-ons?
Yeah I still think 23 is absurdly low for his quality.
What do you think of a contract termination / severance pay?

Zyiech's transfer to Al-Nassr falls through

Maybe Brozo's will as well
Jinxed it 🤭

Saudis are fucking with Inter management because the time is on their side now.

This and Skriniar help me to understand why Marotta is pushing hard for Italians. Because such guys are very loyal, rarely leave the country and in the case they do, not causing that much harm. They don't throw the whole club fate out of the windows like this. Dollarumma might be the only outliner, am I missing someone?

We need stability in this club. I cannot imagine e.g. pushing for contract termination after a juicy deal collapses. While the fault is not only our side at all. Fuck Saudis they are rich but need to learn about footballing professionalism.

After Alexis, I don't want another shitty situation. If Saudi's want Brozo this summer, they should pay up. Every day they wait, another million should be added to the transfer.

But Marotta shops these foreign players around, he has approved and pushed for this transfer for a (lousy) fee that the other party is not even willing to pay.

This happens only after a year when Brozovic signed the contract, only to be forced out now. It's clear that Marotta and Zhang extended him so they can sell him.

Contracts go both ways.

Lol not too long until someone blames brozo as expected. Idk what world you live in? Loyalty is two way street. Inter doesn't show loyalty to their players, why should players show loyalty to Inter?

I'm sure some of you will start turning your back on barella or bastoni should they look out for their best interest.

Skriniar is a greedy cunt has nothing to do with the Brozovic situation.

Please read it properly before spamming such shit like I am blaming players for seeking the best interest. Brozo signed a fucking contract till 2026. He must respect that due to professionalism, no ifs and buts here.

We did not put a gun on his head to sign and millions is still flowing to his bank account. Afterwards he can leave for Saudis or China for all I care. How is that that hard to understand?

So?

If Brozovic wasn’t extended last year he would have walked for free

He isn’t the first person to be extended just to be sold and won’t be the last. I’m not really seeing why this is such a great travesty..

he’s been shopped around for atleast 5 years now and a serious offer has never come. Not when he was in his prime coming off of the 2018 World Cup or any time after. Our desperation at this time to sell him is more than understandable and I’m not even that big in frattesi.

His demands if true are ridiculous.

And that's why he is requesting to terminate his contract, professionally. Contract goes both ways, Inter tried to get out of the contract they and Bro signed until 2026 gor their best interest. Now that that "best interest" collapses, brozovic is looking out for his best interest by requesting to terminate his contract. What's so hard to understand? We did it with Conte and Alexis, why shouldn't brozovic get it too?
