He's a natural footballer, I can see why Arsenal liked him, he's there kinda player i.e. intelligent & technically gifted. I'm well impressed & delighted with this signing. The fact he stood out & was one of our best players already just shows how badly we needed someone like him.

Dude, this forum is not for scouting, so people here dont need to be too realistic on evaluating Inter players. Instead they rather be passionate and overreacting toward them.

Praising and overhyping a player in this session do not necessarily make them better than some legends.

I don't think anyone is overrating him though, no posts really show that. Fans are just excited to finally get what seems to be the missing piece in our midfield and I agree with that. No one's calling him the next Iniesta or Pirlo.

I think it's more about expectations than ability. People were probably not expecting him to walk into the team and make a noticeable difference, but he has.

i think the word "hype of overhype" is misused here. it's more about the satisfaction or happiness of seeing how brozovic can slot in right away in the games. he does great stuffs in his last 3 games. in fact, he offered something new which cant be provided by our current midfielders like guarin, kuz, hernanes, and obi. he adds energy, directness, some simple and clever passings, speed, and more off the ball movements. if people start expecting alot from him then it's quite rational. the ground is there and obvious.

hype imho primarily refers to a more idealistic view which has very little basis of objective situation. in the bro's case, it doesnt apply sufficiently. he's a starter in his national team. have good seasons with dinamo zagreb and his previous clubs. even some of our fellows croation member have convinced us, who have watched him many times more than any fifi members, that he has good quality and reliability. so, it's not a hype. it's a materialistic and historical arguments.

I'm saying it's a bit funny how glad everyone is about having a midfielder that doesn't pass the ball back and releases it under pressure quickly.

And to be fair, it's only been two games yet I've read "excellent signing". Even noticed a few Cuchu and Guti comparisons, which is a bit ridiculous.

Been great in his first two matches but we don't know if he will get better or worse. Sometimes new players come in with a point to prove other times they come in and keep getting better. Either way I was originally for this transfer so I hope he gets better.
