Didn't watch Bologna game but this applies to all Brozovic games. So frustrating player. I remember few years ago (1 or 2?) we celebrated here how good he is and he got a release clause of 50m€ to his new contract and all. And now where we are?

This guy just doesn't fit to the highest level of football IMO. Even if he starts for Croatia sometimes, it doesn't mean anything. He might prosper at the exact correct environment (perhaps NT with countrymen) but I don't think that environment ever can be found in a top class football. Way too inconsistent (= level of his play follows his mood way too much).

This has always been the story actually and we shouldn't be surprised when we can't sell our own players. The guy has an irritating attitude yes but can someone bring actually some facts on what he has done so wrong to actually deserve a stadium of 60k people booing him? Let me tell you , nothing.

He hasn't created any problem in the locker room , hasn't offended anyone , hasn't publicly done anything wrong and plays every match with his own pace/characteristics. Its not his fault that you see brozo and expect to see naingolan or kaka. He is not a dynamic type of player and can't keep his concentration for 90 minutes , yes, we all fucking know this but this is not a fucking crime. We have people who watch players every day 24/7 that should know this. So instead of exposing him to the fans or create false expectation fucking advertise his skills and sell him for good value rather than let him get to this position and force his sell in the summer for ridiculous money.

And most importantly it is very unfair to blame him for the qualities our team doesn't have. He is the only midfielder in this season who has actually done something in terms of goals/assists and yet the fans blame on him everything that Joao Mario/Vecino/Gaglia/Borja havent been able to do...

Meh imho vecino and borja contributed way more than brozo did this year! Also he has nobody to blame but him selfe for the fans booing him he obviously has the talent he just does not give a fuck too often and imho thinks he s a way better player than he actually fucking is! Even today wtf was that with clapping at the booing crowd when getting subed off? He played a shitty game just fucking acccept the crowds boos and shut the fuck up this happens at big clubs when you put in shitty performances and a reaction like this is not gonna help him!

Also you are blaming us fans and our managemnt for devaluing him what can we do if he does not give a shit? It s not the fans nor the managements fault that that he does not care and that he shows it so obviously.
Do you really think other clubs have not realised his shitty attitude and the fact that he has not developped at all over the last two years? What could management have done to prevent this? The only thing that comes to mind is not playing him or selling him back when he still looked promising. And not playing him would have also destroyed his value. So i really dont see what we could have done other than selling him back in the days to avoid his value dropping cause i highly doubt his attitude is ever going to change!

Strangely, though, I agree with the main point. This is not so much above Brozovic, but rather about us. Why do we cling to mediocre players for so long? It's 2018 and Andrea Ranocchia is still wearing an Inter shirt, ffs. As for Brozovic, obviously he has more talent than your garden-variety Branca signing, but he hasn't developed like he was supposed to, lacks concentration and is only brilliant maybe once a year, and that just doesn't cut it for a CL side. We keep him around for what, exactly? Scoring a brace against Benevento? That one time he played well against a Juventus B-side? Not enough, as 8 times out of 10 he misplaces passes and gets subbed off. Should have sold him way back.

Pff i could make the exact same claim for candreva jet every body is hating on him. Also balkan mentality is not a excuse i dont give a shit where he grew up or where he s from he s a proffesional who gets paid millions fucking act like it!

- apparently taking written test of driving exam bunch of times
- lost driving license because he didn’t drive properly
- after that he still decided to drive and to pass two red lights on 2016 holidays under influence

You can get away with that, if you're playing good or, are one of the best players in the team...in his case, he needs to lower his head, be humble and not act like a dickhead...and maybe fans will have some sympathy for him and be fair and spare some criticism.

And you're right, Vecino was and has been shit a lot more lately, but at least he act like a professional, and that's why maybe he gets away with some stuff.

Veccino may perform worse but at least he tries to do better or makes an effort on the field and talent wise he is ok, we know what to expect from him. Thing with Brozo is he could be a much better player because he has talent, can play with both feet, can pass, shoot etc..so not only is he not reaching his potential there but then he makes mistakes and in some games gets down and starts not running or even making an effort, its a cycle with him.
