Obviously you've never tried to watch an NBA game.

LOLOLOL You think the NBA is more boring than baseball?? Haha good one man, at least NBA games don't last 4+ hours...waste a whole fuckin afternoon watching overweight guys spit and scratch their nuts...definitely an acquired taste!

Baseball actually lasts 2:45 in time normally. If you're not a fan of pitching and hitting, then so be it. The best thing is, during the breaks you can talk to your friends in-game. It's alot easier to take a date to a Baseball game than any other sport (since in the others, you're watching and listening intently.)

I know it's amazing to hear that seeing I'm a Laker fan, but NCAA Basketball is more thrilling to watch. The NBA ranks the lowest surprisingly out of my sports preference.

I hate the NBA. The old analogy that all you need to watch is the last 5 minutes holds true in so many games. Worst part is the players basically run that league, as you can see now with Carmelo for instance.

Anyway, back on topic

I wouldn't say I hate it, but I do dislike how stars run the league. It can be a monopoly at times with certain stars.

I agree I think NBA is boring and I've never understood the appeal of basketball. I tried paying attention once when the Warriors were actually doing well and I still couldn't so I doubt I'll ever like it.

Of course NCAA Basketball is more exciting than NBA, but the only sport that can compete with the boringness of baseball, is golf. Last years average was 2:52...I would love to see how much of that time is commercial breaks and pitchers scratching their balls and picking their ass lol

No one said what sport is the best to attend with a date. We are talking about watching sports and in that case baseball is by far the most boring. I live in America and I think this, I can't even imagine what the rest of the world thinks. The 162 game season is also a joke. Football is beautiful because you look forward to the matches, there are only 1-2 a week and it becomes almost a ritual for fans, especially those close to the stadiums. Games mean so much more as a few losses means your season is over. Baseball is played almost every single day, sometimes twice in a day, which means there is no way a fan can follow their team as closely as they can a football team, it is just not possible unless you are a billionaire and do not have to work or go to school every day.

Losses mean nothing in the MLB, as you can lose around 75 games and still make the playoffs lol

Somewhere... my GM Billy Beane has got to be smiling after the Spurs won against Bilan today. I know he's a Tottenham supporter, which is the only light reason I have some interest in them.

Still can't figure out why you're not a huge Red Bulls fan.

I live in Upstate NY, over 3 hours from where the Red Bulls play...I'm closer to the Revolution :p

But I don't really follow the MLS...

Wow the Albert Pujols talks couldn't come together for the Cardinals. I wonder what they'll do seeing they're unable to resign him.

^ Oh goodness... most MLB fans will tell you that 70s-80s throwback of the Astros was considered one of the worst in baseball. I personally dislike the appearance of that jersey. I suppose it's good for collection purposes.. but that crap is ugly.

This was my friend and I a couple years back. I'm on the left of course. Usually we wear a green hat with a yellow bill. I happen to be wearing the alternate black uniform. I also happen to be wearing an odd colored A's hat that is Independence day themed.

We have one of the best uniforms I think... we're actually the only guys that wear green.

Personally... and I'm not every girl, but if a guy ever took me to a baseball game on a date... well, there would never be another date. Screw watching and listening intentively - in pretty much any sport [minus like.. golf and tennis] you can get up and cheer and have fun while you're there. If you want to sit and chat - take me to a park or dinner or something. If you're taking me to a sport event, I don't expect to spend the 2-3 hours talking to my date. I would just as easily put all my focus on the game. And I like baseball - though, admittedly, I don't follow it much - I'd prefer to play. I can't waste 3 hours watching a game where people just hit balls and run bases over and over and over. In any case, Boston, for me... Red Sox all the way.

I dispute that map a little bit, parts of Nevada are definitely Giants territory. :p

Nevada should be shaded with all colors LOL! I've met Dodgers and A's fans from out there as well.
