MILAN – The signing of Lukas Spendlhofer, on a permanent deal has been made official. The young Austrian, a midfielder born in 1993, arrives from the club F.A. St. Poelten Noe’s under-18 selection, which is top of the Jugendliga table (the under-18 Austrian league), and will join the Nerazzurri’s Primavera side (under-19s), coached by Fulvio Pea. A frim starter, he collected 11 appearances in 11 games and scored six goals, which made him the second highest scorer in his side.

The video is a piece of a local TV channel.

Just shows where he is from (Hintenburg), and where he started playing football (in a town a few kilometres far away from his hometown, then went to some kind of football academy, where the best of each region play, called Academy Saint Pölten).

He seems to be quite down to earth, says his first targets at his new club are learning the new language and finishing his exams properly, because he's in his last year at school. Then there is a reference to Herbert Prohaska, a former austrian Inter player. Lukas starts at Primavera level and hopes to play for the first team as soon as possible. Last part is about his father who says that Lukas will live alone without his family in Italy. His Cuchu-shirt indicates that he's also quite a fan of this club...

MILAN – Inter’s last session ahead of tomorrow’s game has just come to an end. The Nerazzurri trained this morning on the newly laid pitch at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, where tomorrow afternoon they will face Palermo.
Watching the training from the side-lines were president Massimo Moratti, Bedy Moratti, and the representatives of the Inter Clubs, more or less forty of them in total.
As well as Julio Cesar, Diego Milito and Wesley Sneijder, who all trained with the group, five players from the Primavera squad (under-19s) were involved in the first team’s training; these were: Alberto Gallinetta, Simone Benedetti, Felice Natalino, Lukas Spendlhofer and Cristoph Knasmullner.

Continuing in their individual rehabilitation programmes back at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti in Appiano Gentile were Ivan Cordoba, MacDonald Mariga, Obiora Nwankwo and Walter Samuel. Dejan Stankovic was given the day off training.

Knasmulner trained with the first team and still played all the 3 matches at least some minutes.
