I used to really like Figo. Then he refused to play (as a sub) against Liverpool... I don't care what his side of the story was, but in my book that is inexcusable. That's completely unprofessional, and that's an insult to the club I love. I don't care how great a player you are. I don't care what you think of the coach or what the situation is in the game. But if you are an Inter player, you cannot refuse to come in as a sub for my Inter. I lost all my respect for Figo that day. I am sorry if that hurts his fans here, but this is how I feel.

And what was more disgusting (though not surprising at all) is that Moratti and the club did not even fine Figo. Infact it was Mancini who had to change his statement claiming Figo never refused... Then we are surprised how dressing rooms are lost, and why coaches find it so hard to succeed at Inter! IMO if ANY player does something like that, his contract should be torn up, he should be banned from the club forever and sued for not fulfilling his duties as per the contract.
