i'm afraid the guy will just wait for the right club and in the meanwhile sip martini with the huge amount of money suning will pay him in the coming months lol.

It's his good right to do it so.
I can imagine him relaxing 1 year, but next year he will for sure coach somewhere. A coach like him doesn't wait 2 years.

Hope Spallo takes a break from management considering the trauma of losing his brother it would not be wise to jump back in when you're not a 100% focused.

Fiorentina is an option. Potential new owner wants him.

Fiorentina 'line up Spalletti'

Prospective Fiorentina owner Rocco Commisso has reportedly made Luciano Spalletti his first choice to replace Vincenzo Montella as Coach.

Commisso is on the verge of buying Fiorentina for €200m, and Tuttomercatoweb writes the Italo-American billionaire has drawn up plans for a new-look Viola.

They include the appointment of Spalletti, who led Inter to successive Champions League qualifications but is unemployed after leaving the Nerazzurri last week.

The website adds ex-Milan Coach Gennaro Gattuso and Roma old boy Eusebio Di Francesco are also candidates to succeed Montella.

Umberto Gandini, who spent 23 years as technical director at Milan before lasting two years as Roma chairman, would be appointed as CEO in this set-up.

Ricky Massara would be given the role of sporting director as he looks set to leave Roma, with Gianluca Petrachi taking over in the capital.

Failing those appointments, TMW writes Commisso has lined up former Milan man Massimiliano Mirabelli and Pierpaolo Marino - once of Napoli and Atalanta - as alternatives for sporting director.

Haha yeah, as if it's not been fuckin' hard to watch anymore lmfao. I wanted to scrape my eyes out soooo many times.

Jube cunte or not, Conte is at least a winner with the personality required to actually make us look good again for the first time in almost a decade. Hope he'll manage to do it.

I'm sorry but when did we ever play attractive football? I think the only time I really enjoyed watching us was Benitez's first two months and some games with Mou were top notch other than that, we were never Barcelona, actually people would criticise us about that at our best and Spalletti's Roma got all the plaudits about good football.

It's funny how people blame Spalletti for our play and beg for new signings for Conte at the same time.

Oh and btw I never saw a Conte side playing a spectacular style either but hey if it fits your moronic narrative that Spalletti=Bad and Conte=Saviour, fill your boots.

Just notice that the guy asking for good football has Fuck Barca in his signature, you can't write this stuff

I never said anything about attractive football dude, where are you even pulling this from.
All I said was 'look good' and by that I mean a team that plays like they know what they're doing. I don't care if it's tiki taka or catenaccio, as long as it's solid and wins us games, as long as it's not 11 Dalberts looking like they accidentally ended up on a football pitch while they were actually looking to play a game of golf.

I am very grateful to Spallo for improving us to the point where we're regulars in CL again, but you can't forget that we've looked absolutely clueless and atrocious against relegation sides. And I think Cunte can improve on Spallo's groundwork & actually make us play well again. Maybe we can even win something if he succeeds in that, like a Coppa final.

This abrupt change from general consensus of the majority being that Spalletti isn't good enough for Inter to the current lamentation about him not being at the helm anymore is quite possibly the most bizarre thing I've ever witnessed on FIF.
Also being top 4 twice doesn't exactly mean regular, that's not the definition of the word no matter how lax you want to go. I could understand being generous with it and trying to overly credit the man if he did what he did with actual conviction, at the very least 6 or 7 points ahead of the competition. Instead we had to rely on the very actual last matchday.

Some people really don't understand that we were literally a mosquito's fart away from losing CL slot. One Handa save less would literally change everything that's been written on the last 10 pages of this thread.

Typcal misconception between good and entertaining football. I dont give two shits if we play with 9 defenders and one striker out there if we play good as in if we dont give silly chances to the opposition if we dont lose the ball 80% of the time after two passes when in transition. and if we have a plan when we have the ball and you can actually see it none of this was the case with spallo.

For example IMHO under cuper we played very good football it was not attractive football especially not for the casual fan but it was damn good football with clear intentions. Same can be said about mou although i feel like we played slightly more attractive football under mou.

I m not sure when it happened but i ll never get why people are saying defensively oriented teams who play well dont play good football thats just a stupid misconception.

Look at greece in the euros they won was it attractive? Fuck no! But was it good football? Yes yes it was it was actually great football from a defensive point of view.

Also who ever says that spallos roma side played better football than mous inter side is fucking delusional and should read a book on football for dumies.

fucking hell..which FIF member demands we play like barca? All we wanted to see is some decent football with basic football knowledge and courage to win some fucking game. Your beloved coach within 2 years has failed miserably to implement his clueless tactic let alone attractive attacking football ala roma. Our players suck dick? yes, but even serie C club has no problem with passing the ball around like a boss, with a purpose, not to side and back t GK. Did they have better players than us? Ask yourself. Conte will be called cunte if he copycat that baldie stubborness, 0 vision and pussy mentality.

Where is ur #sackbaldie man?

I guess Liverpool play "great football" with their 35% passing completion rate in the final.

35% possession....64% pass completion.

No team outside of my son's recreational team has a pass completion rate of 35%.

Whatever the number was, heard it is the worst all time in a CL final.

As for your son's team, they really need to just give the ball to the best kid. Best stat padding strategy.

Well when you score a PK 2 minutes into the game, it kinda changes the way you play. I can guarantee you they would have had better possession had that not happened.

I'm talking about the successful passing rate. Possession doesn't mean shit usually.
