Somewhat unrelated, but VAR is good for the game if properly administered, but I kinda hate how there are so many goals these days where my first instinct is "that might've been offside" and I don't end up really celebrating goals at all once they've been scored...celebration is a spontaneous thing, it's hard to feel the same once the moment's already passed.

Agree with the second part. I guess I'm lucky enough to still celebrate immediately every time if it's not something obvious/highly suspicious.

Just to add to this post - if this game finishes at 4-[x], we're on a 95.8 goal pace for the season. Averaging 2.5 goals per game...entering this weekend, only Bayer and Bayern are doing better among top-4 leagues, and they play in a higher scoring league.
