Well fuck, we were terrible, Rafinha was a shadow of himself, D'Ambrosio was completely crushed by Felipe Anderson, we lacked balance, we had zero strength in midfield, Icardi had two decent touches of the ball which won us a penalty and the shot obviously and we're in the Champions League!!

Thats just the prize money component. On top of this is the market pool component (i.e. tv money), which for Italian clubs is usually higher than the prize money. For example, in 2016-17, this was the money Italian clubs got:

Juventus (reached Finals): Prize money: €51m + Market pool: €59m = total €110m
Napoli (reached last 16): Prize money: €25m + Market pool: €41m = total €66m
Roma (qualifier): Prize money: €3m + Market pool: €11m = total €14m

On top of these payments by UEFA, Inter also gain from gate receipts and sponsorship deals.

My guess is that even if we get eliminated in group stage, we will earn a min of €15m in prize money and €25m in market pool. So last night's win got us a minimum of €40m. However I suspect big money will also come from Suning exploiting the CL to get more sponsorship money from China - this is exactly what they have been waiting for.
