I mean I am not trusting anyone's words ever again. The two former captains whom talked much about love for Inter turning out to be bunch of bullshit; both "former" category now. Standards are so low here...The ability to pick yourself up after a failed moment and try again is admirable but it's the bare minimum. In fact he should beat himself up over that missed opportunity, focus on what he could've done better and look to improve by dedicating hours upon hours of work in training. He's entering his peak now. Much is expected.
