Lautaro appreciates Inzaghi chose him and not Dybala, so naturally he defends his ass.Speaking to Italian broadcaster Rai Radio, the 25-year-old responded to some recent suggestions regarding the coach’s suitability to lead the team, making clear that he feels that the responsibility must be chiefly on the players.
A 1-0 Serie A win over Torino over the weekend was hardly enough to dispel talk of an Inter team in crisis, with their losses of Lazio, AC Milan, and Bayern Munich in the first month of the campaign laying bare some of the issues within the team.
The coach has taken a lot of the blame for this in the reaction among the media and fans, given that he is responsible for tactical approach and player selection, but for his part Martinez thinks that it’s the players who should stand up and face scrutiny when the team aren’t doing well.
Asked about the criticisms of Inzaghi, the Argentine said that “It’s annoying for us hearing those things, it’s us who go out on to the pitch and make decisions. He decides who plays, but then it’s us players who are on the pitch.”

Haha, watch Lukaku after the cross. He was like "do what you want, my job finishes here" and then sees Lautaro scoring. He almost couldn't believe he assisted a goal. Both assist and the goal was a pure beauty and it happened just when we were all feelig 1:2 wasn't enough.

I think it's not Lukaku per se just that his replacements are incredibly worse in quality. The interesting thing about Lautaro is while he started the season strongly with 3 goals in 4 games he has scored just once in 6 games ever since Lukaku got injured.
