Been defending this guy but felt sick watching him play today. One great dribble that lead to a nice shot but overall was frustrating to watch.

Now he's going to fuck off to Argentina, play 3 games and come back even more tired and useless.

Guy needs to sort out his consistency issue. I'd drop him for correa now.
Most likely gonna score a couple of goals too

If I was Inzaghi I'd make this little fuckwit stay behind 2 hours every single day after training to practice finishing - and penalties.

Lautaro needs to take a long, hard look in the mirror tonight. If this fucking BITCH is even a half-respectable professional, he needs to confront the fact that his finishing is fucking abysmal for a "supposed top" striker, and work on it with serious dedication. If he does not identify and target that weakness, he will never be anything more than he is right now.

But no, he's probably relaxing, drinking mate and shaving the sides of his head.

“He’s still young” 😂 The way it’s going Lautaro will start being the striker we all hoped he would be at the age of 35 🤣

Never agree with decision Lautaro Martinez become Penalty taker.

I think Brozovic more suitable than him.

Shouldn't be taking penalties from now on. I understand that penalties are mostly 50-50 cases, but there's something about Lautaro's way of taking penalties which makes it kind of predictable and also savable. He might be able to strike the ball with enough power, but it is never really well placed that it's always savable if the GK guesses the right way.

Not every player has the skills to deceive goalkeepers with feints or body movements in the run-up like Lukaku or Balotelli. However, some players are great PK takers despite being predictable at it because they strike the ball with enough power and PRECISION. Take Harry Kane and even our very own Perisic for examples. Their shots are very much straight forward, but there's nothing that goalkeepers can do about it because their shots are so well placed, it's just impossible to save even if the goalkeeper guesses the right way.

As much as I'm pissed from yesterday's match, we need to remember, Lautaro is just 24 years old. He's not gonna be a bonafide goal scorer ever. But I remember when we signed Zlatan back in 2006. He was 25 years old back then. He wasn't a bonafine goal scorer back then. He developed to be one, maybe during his time at Inter but even more after Inter time (Milan, PSG).

I'm not comparing Lautaro to Zlatan skill level or player level, of course not, but the goal scoring is not something you cannot train. You cannot train to be Lewa or like Icardi in finishing, but you can train to be better at it. For example penalties are definitely something you can train and become better at.

I remember Lautaro saying how he used sports psychologist, after his first year at Italy to help with his temper issues in games. To me it is a sign he cares about the stuff he does, wants to be better at his profession. I agree Lautaro probably won't be our main scorer ever, but he's had already pretty okay seasons scoring wise overall (past two seasons 21 and 19 goals).

Anyway, let's cool our tits.

That one clear chance where he totally scuffed his shot wide was the most frustrating. It's classic Lautaro. Motherfucker just NEVER EVER fucking aims.

He not need to be at icardi or lewa in terms of finishing, this fucker need to be calm and cold in front of the goal, he keep miss very easy chances that every non handicap striker should score, most of his problem is in his head, i dont know wtf his problem that prevents him to stay calm...

Yeah, maybe he gets better at that with sports psychologist as he did with his temper issues.

This constant cursing to our players in the forum is just embarrassing.

Yeah I haven't followed the match threads for a long time. Only after the match I might read and post general feelings.

I think that if there is Barca or Atletico bid for him, this time around we should take it. He is nothing special, and i don't think he will ever be.

Prove me wrong Lautaro!

As I mentioned in the Player Suggestion thread Julian Alvarez could be that player. His price will be close to what Inter paid for Lautaro Martinez and he has the quality to be as good as Lautaro or even better than him in the coming years.

looks thriving. score 4 goal against Patronato last night.

The thing is we just gave him a big contract and Lautaro committed to Inter. He didn't want to leave this summer. It's about the player and his will, not some offers from other clubs. He ain't leaving anywhere.

Fuck that. That's his job from now on. It baffles me to no end that players don't practice penalties until perfection. I remember reading how Kobe (RIP) made 100,000 baskets over one summer. That's like 1000 shots "made" (not attempted) a day. You want the big bucks you gotta commit.
