If he is like or Aguero or even better, than he is also better than Icardi.

Sell Icardi.

Argentines do a lot better in Europeans football than Brazilians so I expect Lautaro to be a success.

there's a release clause of 111m in his contract, i hope one day we will be scared of other clubs activating his release clause.

He only get 1.5mil salary, if he had great season we will raise his wages and increased his RC for sure, same happen with Icardi and Skriniar.. 111mil is an easy peasy for such a wonderkid these day..

Just don't make him some Jesus welcoming video and he'll be fine.

Aguero scored 6 goals and was basically a starter for Atlético in his debut season.

Seen a thread about hum on reddit. A lot of argentines saying he will take italy by storm next season, that he's like aguero / tevez and he has best striker in tbe world potential. Lets hope.

Any Argentinians that know anything about him? I'd rather not go by media hype.

I won't say anything until I see something. No point falling for any kind of hype these days.

Sell Icardi.

I'm pretty sure he was brought in to compliment Icardi's playstyle. Something we've needed for quite some time now.

Yeah let's sell a guaranteed top goalscorer and instead depend on a teenager new to Europe. That'll work very well.

Let's not fuck this up Coutinho style. Let's believe in him, give him plenty of chances so he can pave the way to late CL stages and become a club legend ala Messi or CR. Wishful thinking but you never know... I'm getting supper excited for this transfer.

Do you have facts or numbers to back that up? You know both leagues probably export 50 players+ a season

If anything the numbers are pretty awful. Look at the rosters of most clubs in both leagues most the dudes already failed in Europe

See, that's what I fear. Lautaro is skilled and quick, but I don't see him playing in a position to feed Icardi. I don't imagine him playing a Candreva-like role in our current line-up, not because of quality, but because Lautaro would be too far from the penalty area and would be required to play second fiddle to his compatriot.

I think this is an insanely good signing, but I still want to see how Spalletti plans to use him, as his price-tag is too high for a mere vice-Icardi.
