The Argentine´s future with Inter is in doubt considering the big amount of wingers (7 with Zicu), and while he is in Greece for the Olympics we could very well make a signing that will decrease his chances of playing. The media thinks Jankulovski is close and Cesar is Mancini´s first choice having worked with him before in Lazio. I collected some official words from Moratti, Mancini and Kily González.

Moratti is open to signing a winger:
Besides reducing the size of the squad, are you planning to bring Cesar and Mihajlovic to Milan? "There's a very precise project that we are carrying forward with Mancini. We will see what happens or what we will be able to do."

The Boss himself did not exclude the opportunity of Cesar and Jankulovski saying:
"Inter has been constructed well, even though I feel a few things are still missing, like a left winger seeing as Kily González will go to the Olympics. It's definitely a well constructed team." So the priority is a left winger? "Only because we don't have one at the moment."

Kily is linked with Crystal Palace and Espanyol. His response:
"I’ve heard my name mentioned in a few transfer stories but I’m an Inter player right now. My situation here certainly isn’t easy and I would therefore happily take into consideration any interesting offers. If I had a choice then I would certainly be happy to return to the Spanish League if possible."

Discuss Kily González´ destiny. :D

If we get Jankulovski or Cesar than sell him. Emre, Stankovic, Karagounis, and Van der Meyde could be the backups for that spot if needed.

He is doing really well..why should we sell him?!

Keep him and go with the squad at hand..If we need to reduce the squad it should be players with less quality that go,especially some that we just got

I would only sell him if we get either Cesar or Jankulovski. Although I still don't like the idea of them coming. I still prefer Kily. But if Mancini insists on using Cesar or Jankulovski, then I see no point in keeping Kily.

This is my opinion too. Kily is a proven LM who can be useful to us. :strong: Only if we get a new winger I would consider it.

Kily hit with ban

Kily Gonzalez has been suspended for two games after being sent off whilst playing for Argentina.

The Internazionale midfielder picked up a red card in Argentina's 3-1 victory over Peru.

Gonzalez will now miss out on Uruguay's visit to Bueno Aires and the trip to Chile.

The first match in particular hands a major problem to new Argentine coach Jose Pekerman - who has a number of players suspended for accumulated bookings.

Javier Mascherano, Carlos Tevez and Andres D'Alessandro are all missing for Argentina, and will force a rethink for Pekerman.

Kily has the toughest situation in his whole career ahead him right now. And he is very well aware of that. But he is a player who does incredible lot work during his time at the field so he should be quite fine. Though he has really tough competitors for his place. Not anyone pure wingers on the left, but still..

Who knows, he sure shone during the Copa and olympics and because of the huge amount of games a rest would actually be needed for him.. He could be our secret weapon after couple of months have gone by..

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. He could use a rest. Then when he recovers from his injury he will be at Mancini´s service like a joker.

I have faith in Kily! :star:

It will take something special by Kily to break into the first team. Can he do it? I'm not sure. If he can than that will cause even more selection problems. A good or bad thing? I guess only time shall tell...

I strongly disagree. I don't see Kily making the cut for this team, he's not needed at all. On both wings, at the very best he's listed 3rd on the depth chart and he probably won't be accepting such a role. Kily must play to stay happy and he won't find regular playing time at Inter. I'm 99% sure that we won't see Kily much and he'll probably be sold to a Spanish club in the winter transfer market.

He's a hard worker and at times has showed why he was so rated at his prime for Valencia, but he's honestly got no chance on this team. On the left there's Stankovic and Emre and on the right there's Van der Meyde and Ze Maria, the positions are locked up at this point. Not even Karagounis is breaking into the first team, which I rate much higher than Kily.

Just like I've said Gaetan. It will take something special from Kily for him to get into the first team and stay there.

Personally I don't really thinik he can do it but if he does it will cause tons of headaches for Mancini, thats for sure.

We should make it a policy that guys with earrings should stay.

Kily is proving himself now. However, I don't see him as an everyday starter, him and the new LW will share duties.

But I think Kily realizes that he is 30 now, and would better play with us than start over somewhere else.

I like his character as well. Argentian players are really more loyal and have more character than Brazilians.

If he continute and get better with his good form, we could use him, but i dont belive he will play for us more then next year, he is old, if we couldn't get any good young wingers we should make him stay.
