Back to the game, the next time I see Martins on a wall defending a FK near the goal, I wil flip!

Does it take a rocket-scientist to figure that Martins is a hole in the wall? Players will know that he is only blocking the GK's view, since no matter how high he jumps, it is easy to by-pass him.

If I am not mistaken, the goal that Corini scored from a FK in the Palermo game had Martins in the wall as well.

This is elementary stuff, just like last year when you put short players defending posts from corner kicks.

It's not so much Oba's fault as it the entire defense who were giving away silly fouls around the box all game. You would think our entire team knows (or was at least told) that Juventus have good dead-ball specialists. This is one of the reasons I don't like Matrix playing with Samuel. Both are very physical players who sometimes go over-board with the fouls. That's why I can't wait till Capitano gets back and Materazzi hits the pine.

True, but we still have to react well. The point of the wall is to block the shooter from seeing the target clearly, or intercepting the ball. Martins is way too short for that, I think he'd better in marking players rather than being in the wall.

Well he's about 5'8 or 5'9 and well put together so it isn't that small. Piza and Cordoba aren't exactly giants either so I guess it can't be helped sometimes. Nedved's goal was beauty and we just have to admit that (though that was a dubious foul on Samuel) while the other goal was a great save by Cesar followed by lazy defending. A really poor 1st half is what cost us.

i think there's none in the wall to blame for nedveds goal.

i actually confused how ibra low free-kicks can get straight to JC. there was something wrong with the wall. i mean with that speed of ball thre was no way JC could catch it well.

a lazy defending? i think a late defending. :p

I just won't read any comments about the game, I'll just say what I think

What I allways liked about Inter is that we are not typical Italian team, that only defends, and kicks, we are true FOOTBALL team, we play football, not like phucking milan and juve.

What I want to say is that with this style we will allways have rpoblems against gobbi and bbilan, so we should have little plan B for them, or we can trust in players that they will have great day on matchday.

yesterday, our players didn't have a day, so we lost

But this games sometimes open you eyes, and it did to me, and I changed my mind on few players, not to much, but it did.

Mine inter best 11 is the same as it is whole season, but not in every game I would play them, not after this game.

We must know that juve didn't have not even one chance, in whole match, just that 2 free kicks.

1)materazzi, pizarro and cambiasso wore horible today
2)thats why adriano and oba didn't play better then they did, but both had some good moves, and that makes me happy
3)finally burdisso is back so no more matrix and samuel together, today we saw how much pain can they give us with that free kicks, il capitano is needed!
4)why was figo replaced? I couldn't belive

I can talk and talk, but inter only lost 3 points, from other things in this match we can only learn, so this will help us in future

One more thing, I was wrong about pizarro for this match, and I learned he can't play with cambiasso in these matches, hammer is also needed

There was no cheating about this game.

Our strikers were out muscled, our midfield were out controlled and our defence was out witted. All in all Juve played much better, they are a team a long way ahead of us. Pizarro had another one of those great games(ha) and our defence just have to knock down a player right in front of the goal. The referee was also good, but anyway now we have to hope Milan can do something.

Ill say this once again, Im very very suspicious about Veron missing our 3rd Serie A game against Juventus in a row.

Helal, the other 2 times he missed the game were due to a serious injury, right? :scared:

catanha's streak has been crushed by The Old Lady. Who's gonna be our next lucky charm? :D

I'll do it...I am pretty lucky considering I have Jewish relatives and my aunt was on The Price is Right in Los Angeles recently...she won a fridge! :D

There I go rambling about fridges again, my bad... :dielaugh:

This result depresses me a lot... I woke up 2.30 in the morning to watch this match. I see 2 free kicks go in before half time.. I hear the chants of "inter, inter, vaffunculo" on the TV.............. I fall asleep with those chants echoing in my head. I wake up and immediately know we lost... it's depressing..

After a good week for 6 days, the 7th day has to be shit. That's life.

Now we have to wait 2 weeks for our next match........

We must win our next 6 matches....

Well oh well ... what a game played by us - PATHETIC

We sucked like hell in the first half. Pizarro was one of the worst player, but that doesn't mean that Veron should be played all the time. Everyone have their bad days, so was the case with Cambiasso. Credit should be given to the Juventus central midfield duo who totally controlled the midfield battle. We didn't work as a team, whereas Juventus did.

And why the hell did we foul them right near the box for god sake ?? Sooner or later they would have scored from those free-kicks. Samuel could have avoided the foul from which Nedved scored their second goal. We gave them so many free-kicks from those danger places, yet we were making so many fouls there.

It was an embarassing first half to watch, we didn't seem to have the desire to play at all.

Nonetheless, I was impressed with Figo's game who was really doing his best. His good performance would had been noticed and would have been GREAT had he got full support from the other players as well. I was really dissappointed to see Figo make way for Recoba, as I had thought that he could had been more decisive. But may be he didn't have the energy to continue, or Mancini didn't want to sub out Pizarro/Stankovic at that moment. :(

I also think that, now it's time to play the Cordoba -- Samuel duo in the middle and let Ze Maria or Burdisso play in the right back position. Didn't mean to say that Matrix was bad, but that in my opinion would be the best solution for us.

Too bad that we have already lost to 2 good teams at this stage of the season, but it's a long season and we should be hopeful. Palermo - Juventus, lets hope that we won't be showing this colour of ours again and again against quality opponents.

Another notable performance to be pointed should be of Recoba, as he was in fine form and seemed to be able to do anything he wanted. Obviously, the game was in a different stage when he came in; yet he showed that he was in good form.

Too bad we lost to Juventus after sometime, but lets hope that we will recover the lost points from the upcoming games.

And again I would like to say that I don't regret for us having to use Pizarro. It was not only him, but almost the whole team who had a pathetic game. Too bad, that they chose a wrong time to perform this bad !!

Forza Inter and Adriano - it's really time to score again .... :boxing:

LAST YEAR JUVENTUS COULD NOT DEFEAT INTER ,BUT JUVENTUS WON THE SCUDITTO .

EVERY ONE HAVE TO UNDERSTAND , JUVENTUS DEFEATED US NOT BECAUSE THEY WHERE BETTER THAN US NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !
WE PLAYED BETTER THAN THEM WE HAD MORE CHANCES THAN THEM .
THEY SCORE ONLY FROM 2 FOULS .

WE HAVE TO GET BENEFITS FROM THIS MATCH :

1 - IT IS VERY NECESSARY TO PLAY ALWAYS WITH VERON INSTEAD OF PIZZARO .
2 - MATERAZI IS MAKING BIG PROBLEMS IN DEFENSE ,VERY AGGRESSIVE , MANY FOULS , AND IN DANGEROUS POSITION .
3 - REPLACE MATERAZI WITH BURDISSO .

The only thing I can say is, it is OK to not lead the Serie A until the year ends but we must make sure that we are not too far behind. I remain convinced that we can have a good 2nd part of the season, just like last season, and that is when we should try to overtake the leader of Serie A, whoever that may be. We have a superior squad compared to them and when the CL knock-out stage comes, so will the absolute most important stage to our season.

Remember that Juventus started the season in an unbelievable form too in 03/04 but they lost their heads as the year changes. All is not lost. The Scudetto is still there to be won.

At least we can thank our luck for the fact that the players will have more time to recover psycholigically since our next match is 2 weeks from now and the fact that we'll be facing a Lucarelli-less Livorno.

Forza Inter!

We can't blame one player, we completly failed as a team. Generated and created nothing, defence was poor and strike force was poor and midfield as said was pathetic.
This is a loss, against a very good team in their backyard...yes we've beaten them in the past @ that ground...so should we have won this game based on that? no, futebol isn't like that.
We lost against a great team, we have a long way to and the season has a long way to go.

Only real thing I'm worried about is Adriano. He is not scoring, whatever excuses someone says to me won't change my mind, I am worried.

“I’m just sorry that Juventus had the determination which we should have had. In these matches one must always out-match the other team, even though in the end you can lose.
Still, I don’t think that my players went on the pitch relaxed: at times there are also the merits of the others. Sincerely, we did not do very well.”

If ur coach may admitt it, then y u souldnt too?
Inter gives always their 100% against Juve,
because they always dreaming of becoming the team Juventus IS,
this time i dont believe it was a lack of will, but a lack of ability,
many times we played better than u and deserved to win but luck will not be in ur side for ever,
once again we tricked u in the transfer game,
wet let u win Pizarro just to buy someone 3times better,
the results once again proove us right,
we may use half of the money u use to buy players and still have a better team,
u choosed quantity over quality
and Serbo-Argentinian mercenaries than players wich play with their hearts for the team,
i congratulate u for getting ridence of Vieri though,
Inter has many talented footballers, u sould just put a little more faith on them,
Adriano is one of the greatest attackers in the world and u r ready to sell him off because he didnt made miracles as other times,
this is wrong mentality and i believe this is what keeps Inter from having a real succes, its good to have some choices and pressure on ur team's first eleven,
but this is way too far...

and stop complaing about juve doping,
dont be blind,u believe that there is any team at all in seria A not using any substances?
do u thing the NT players u have, coming from other proffesional clubs never used any druggs?
do u thing the Olympic games golden winners are all innocent and the ones cought are the only cheaters?
Get a life,
juve was implicated on this rumours just to hurt our image,
why Juve was the only team accused,
why juve was the only team had their former players questioned,
why Juve was the only team questioned,
why Cannavaro was assaulted then, that certain time?
why juve had a 6years tribune wich came back immediatly after our great avocato died?
Because Juve was the only team wich was succesfull thats why
and that hurts some people and they want to find some excuses to argue their inferiority,
Now speaking about the refs:
i dont say life or football is fair,
so Juve being superior in any way from most of the clubs would do what it takes to obtain what we worth, there have been times when a team like Napoli could buy the scudetto,so we and Milan had to react,
ur team did as well what it could, but it seems they can master any field at all on football.
These times had past, today a camera may end the carrier of a ref,
where is Inter now?
Did get any better?
things are totaly changed now, stop being ridiculus and still complaining about a game when ur Matrix sould have sent off twice.

Inter played better?
some of u were pleased with ur overall performanced?
esp in the first half wich both teams were after the same purpose?
Well i didnt.
After Juve, Inter is a team i used to enjoy waching,
inter used to play good football
and i thought we were sharing the same hate for our common enemy,
but it seems u have choosed to become their puppies and joined forces (isnt this cheating?)against our proven and undeniable superiority.
That would be interesting if ur alliance would let u win a tittle for once,
but i guess ur only purpose now is to win Juve,
that would mean ur season failed allready.
I really miss what Inter used to be...

You would think that after a win which has them 5 points ahead of Milan and 6 ahead of Inter, you would think that Juve fans (I use the term fan loosely) that they would enjoy it, but I guess I thought wrong. Surely Juventini have better things to do than troll on a Inter fan forum...I guess that's Juventini though..

troll elsewhere, idiot.

I'm just here to say that you really should ban Lilianna here, she's literally nothing but trouble.

I still read this forum so I won't rub it in any deeper, you got seriously owned this time and that's it. See you on San Siro at spring and good luck with Coppa Italia.
