Inter, 39 punti in 15 partite: nel 2006 fu scudetto

Craaaazy!
Back then we were practically unopposed...
Now we have Napoli,Rube,Roma who were in an advantage over the summer for sure...and we are top of the table still!

Do you guys accept Luciano Spalletti as your lord and savior ?!

This is the night before my first exam and another the day after. Our first loss would really put a downer on the week

If Napoli win and we lose, Napoli go top.

0-1 João Mario screamer from 30 meters, you heard it here first.

If that happens I'll walk to Lourdes naked.

Hope Spalletti learns from Napoli this round. We need to not care about possession and quite frankly, we need to be the ones sitting deep playing counter.

We can't play like that, we need to do what brought us to the dance, I trust Spalletti.

I'm predicting 1-1 with a Karamoh last minute equaliser.

I'm predicting 1-1 with a Karamoh last minute equaliser.

Lucianos will not give him minutes in d'Italia imo. Candreva & Perisic will run like horses 90mins giving the slightest subchance for Eder.

We can't play like that, we need to do what brought us to the dance, I trust Spalletti.

Juve's biggest threat is Dybala running in open space centrally, around 20-25yds in front of goal. Their second biggest threat is Piguain on short angled runs right around the 18-20yds, also centrally. Juve's biggest weakness (similar to ours) is actually against the counter since their transition defensive mid is poor. Next weakness is down their right side (de sciglio side). Their strength is parking the bus. Of all things, we must ensure they don't park the bus like they did against Napoli or how they did in their CL runs. If that means we sit back a little then we need to do it. Allegri is smug and thinks he's better than he is, but even I will admit that he generally gets his tactics right and is a very tactical coach.

This isn't a knockout tournament game. This is a league game. In this tight league race, 1pt (like we got against Napoli) is much better than 0pts.

So we can't play too expansive or leave too many gaps. At least not early on. I'm not saying park the bus ourselves, but ensure we're mentally aware during the game of when Juve try to lull you into thinking you're in control when all they're doing is setting you up to push more mids forward and leave gaps for them to counter.

In attack, we need to be disciplined and should never have more than 4 players in the offensive third. 3 in the middle and 3 back. If dumbo is overlapping with candreva in the offensive third, then that means only Icardi and one of Perisic or the AM should also be in the offensive third.

Gags must play for his physicality. Valero obviously. So the question is whether we play Valero high with Vecino next to Gags. Or we play Valero deep to control the tempo and Brozo higher. I personally want and hope Brozo to start this game.

Excited for the game though; tactical battle plus mentality of the players..

I hope Allegri plays his usual 3 man defence, that should play nicely into Spalletti's tactics. We got just the players to spread their defence wide exposing the gaps for Icardi and Brozovic to exploit.

On the other hand, the worst case scenario is if Allegri shifts to a 4-2-3-1 formation against us, possibly the most attacking Juve that Allegri has played so far this season. That will be trouble for us tactically. Costa, Dybala and Cuadrado supporting Higuain will be very hard for our defence to manage.

So in a way its ideal that we scored 5 goals against Chievo, it will put some doubts in Allegri's head and he may play slightly more defensive than he should. I wonder if that was deliberate on Spalletti's part - unleash the most relentlessly attacking Inter a week before the Juve game just to make Allegri a bit cautious.

We'll obviously the one playing on counter, not because that's our strategy but because they are better at possession and will have more of the ball. I'm sure Vecino will start if fit.

The only question is do we go more conservative with a Vecino-Gags midfield with Valero ahead, or have Vecino-Valero with Brozovic ahead. I suspect it'll be the latter with Brozovic coming around 65' when Valero tires off.

Perisic/Icardi/Canderiva are ideal for counter attack football.

I hope to see Valero-Vecino-Brozovic. That will help us create more chances through the centre. Brozovic also offers more threat to Juve's goal.

considering the current form of brozo, i would go with him.
especially if we plan on playing counter. he had a few long passes yesterday which appeared to be remote-controlled.

1) park the bus
2) ensure VAR has enough batteries
3) hit them on the counter
