Yea, it the same kind of problem and tactic that Mazzarri had. It might work with high intensity against smaller teams but not against top team. You need to have some kind of more unexpected creativity and individual brilliance. Eriksen might manage to bring it but Conte won't start him.

tbh, either way, we'd be making the EXACT SAME ARGUMENT after mourinho season 1.

We need a lot more work, that is clear; but at the same time, we've rejuvenated quite a bit of this team already. With Icardi, Perisic, and Nainggolan hopefully all going this summer, and CL revenue, that should give us a decent shot at another pass of rejuvenation.

Poor comparison. Mou was already world class renowned TACTICIAN. Conte is certainly not that, has never been that, and is showing it pretty clearly this season with us.

We are not ready to challenge Juve this season and next unless we invest in more marquee players this summer. Juve have the luxury to put Dybala on the bench but other than Lukaku and Martinez we have no one else to win games on their own. Lazio have Immobile and Alberto on fire which is why they are having an extraordinary season. You don't win Scudetto with donkeys like Vecino and Candreva. There is a chance Martinez go as well so we really need to spend big on difference makers soon enough if we don't to go behind Lazio as well.
