I would love this one

Milito

Cassano - Palacio

Álvarez - Cambiasso - Guarín

Jesús - Samuel - Ranocchia - Zanetti

Handanović

We could steal some possession from them with this formation while still being able to counter Isla/Lichtsteiner and Asamoah with Jesús and Zanetti. Álvarez and Guarín both have great workrate and decent defending while still being able to keep possession under pressure and Cambiasso is on fire. Also Álvarez and Guarín are good for starting counterattacks and with Cassano and Palacio dropping deep to help to pressure Pirlo and maintain possession when we have the ball, as well as starting counters I think we can counter Juve's main strenghts.

This is another formation I like.

Milito - Palacio

Pereira - Álvarez - Cambiasso - Guarín - Zanetti

Jesús - Samuel - Ranocchia

Handanović

With this one we could probably fight the midfield battle better, but on the other hand it would be much harder to counterattack and Juve would probably win the midfield anyways.

yep.

-----

4-3-2-1 with j jesus at lb wouldnt be bad, we could fight midfield better, but defence will be riskier.

Ego much? That said, I had to thank due to the apostrophes.

No, not the direct speeches to an imaginary person, rather the Unicode character. I live right by a Knights of Columbus club, and the sign outside says "Knight's of Columbus." Makes me cringe every time.

Huge, huge game... if we can manage to beat them I truly believe this would have a huge mental boost to the entire club. It would confirm what we are doing, and that we are going about it in the right way.

It has a feeling of title-decider as well. Win and we're 1 point behind them, lose and they're up 7 (and I don't see anyone catching them).

Lulek; I echo your sentiments. Nothing more to hate than that Jube... okay, maybe Bilan.

Forza Inter!

Huge, huge

Sometimes being too huge is a problem, contrary to popular belief. Bigger than average is the best bet. But idk about huge, some people cant handle it without a lot of experience.

JUVE-INTER OF RECORD

Italian derby – Tomorrow is the super game for the Scudetto. The Bianconeri are unbeaten in 49 games and in the first 10, they have beaten Capello.
For the Nerazzurri (at -4), eight consecutive wins (six in the league). These are the two teams worth 503 million with the host is worth more but on the field, the difference is reduced.
Juve with many investments in the past four years, are on the rise. Inter have started a new project.
Tension ease: Agnelli invites Moratti to the stadium.

Milan- The formidable army of Agnelli against the resurgent Inter of Moratti. In terms of investing on the market, it’s all in favor of the rich Juventus. The investments that the Bianconeri have made over the past four years are paying dividends in terms of results while Inter are just starting over. In the summer time, Branca and Ausilio manged to end painfully the great cycle of Mourinho’s treble. The rebulding process was long but it is still yet completed but evidently it is an operation to push the club on top of the standings once again.

Investments In any case, Inter and Juventus are the two clubs that have spent the most in Serie A to strengthen their teams. In Turin, they closed with 56.4 million and financially, they are in the red zone at -34.2. Meanwhile the Nerazzurri spent 48 million but closed everything at a deficit of -13 million (sales – purchases). Huge effort as evidence of their ambitions. The Bianconeri with the prospect of doing well in the Champions League while Inter immediately are with the order of finding a place in the top European competition.

Values of both clubs based on transfer market values of their players.

Red alert At the same time, there is the duel from a distance concerning economy. The final budget of Juventus is still in progress but it offers an overall deficit of 48 million euros. Also the club of Massimo Moratti has reduced the losses to 78 million. However, it is still the huge burden of previous years, characterized by expensive pampering wages that are no longer sustainable. From this point of view, Moratti’s directors are more virtuous than those of Andrea Agnelli and that mountain of salaries has been reduced to 100 million euros. Instead, the club in Corso Galileo Ferraris is growing at an altitude of 115, not counting the incentive structure of flexible contracts. An opposite path that best expresses the current differences in management between two clubs.

Opposite phases The financial details allow you to understand how Juve are in the midfield of a cycle that has seen much rejuvenation of a squad that is now much enhanced. Then, Antonio Conte does the rest with this work on the field. In this sense, there is also the transformation of Andrea Stramaccioni. It is an Inter that still mostly depends on its seniors (which explains a lot the clear difference in transfer market values) but this club is gradually giving the “green” players like Ranocchia, Juan more and more important minutes together with new signings like Cassano, Palacio and Guarin.

Total boom
In any case, the available players for the game tomorrow at Juventus Stadium are worth an enormous amount of 503 million. A calculation that gives clear sense of prospects of the two clubs. Based on specifically the 23 players of Juventus, they are at 327 million (202 on the field, 125 on the bench). The 21 Inter players are at 176 million (95 on the field and 81 on the bench). So why is there a gap? The absence of Wesley Sneijder weighs significantly. The Dutch has a market value of at least 20 million euros while many others, due to their age, are worth less as well.

Perspectives The player of the day recently for Juventus has been Frenchman Paul Pogba, arrived in the summer on a free transfer from Manchester United. It was a great opportunity. So much so that now he is worth about 20 million although Maraotta and Paratici will do anything to make him the protagonist at Juventus for a long time. On the other side there is the Brazilian Juan Jesus. Another 20 year-old that arrived in January from Internacional of Porto Alegre at the cost of 3 million. In his case, we estimate that he is now worth 10 million. These two young men are on the launch pad for both clubs. And this is the way to do it. The formula that can keep the budget in place without sacrificing success. The vocation that combines this Juve and Inter.

Form 49 matches without defeat in the league against eight wins in a row (including Cup competition): other than looking at the standings, is Juve-Inter truly a balanced confrontation? That question was posted on Gazzetta.it and the response was yes. Well, the Nerazzurri are viewed as slight favorites. But the people who voted in that poll perhaps are more Interista than Juventini. And then we asked: who is in better form? An evaluation of player by player that takes into account the latest performance of those who will be protagonists of Saturday’s Italian derby.

Surprise The result of this poll once again is once again Inter. This is certainly a surprising result because just a month ago, the superiority of Juventus based on its individuals and as a team, would find no objection from… Moratti, the number one fan of Inter. So let’s understand what has changed in favor of Andrea Stramaccioni who has made Inter a credible challenger.

Screen-Shot-2012-11-02-at-12.24.57-AM.png
Probable lineups Juventus-Inter.

The push The last few games clearly say that the Inter coach has found the right formula in the attack where Juventus are still working on it. That Palacio has immediately arrived at this best level after the injury and has settled in very well with a Cassano, one that is worthy of another call-up to the Italian national team. The great understanding of Cassano and Palacio has allowed the Milan club to overcome the most difficult moments and set aside trial and errors. Not to forget the untouchable Diego Milito who always plays with calmness, scores and makes others score as well. As Inter are waiting the return of Wesley Sneijder, Cassano is their main man from every aspect.

The couple Juventus are instead looking for a couple that can build the plays. Antonio Conte has Vucinic-Giovinco in mind but alternatives are there. We should not overlook Quagliarella who has recently regained some confidence. Matri and Bendtner are candidates especially for aerial attacks. So options are there but the absolute answer is still being looked at. Perhaps it’s the whole team will have to carry the load because 12 have scored this season. Question of mentality of course but also the schemes.

Pogba In the midfield, it’s the devastating explosion of Pogba against the fantastic period of Cambiasso. For the rest, Marchisio should return after a match off and the status of Vidal is also improving. Stramaccioni will rely on Zanetti on the right, Guarin who is having more confidence or he can choose one runner between Gargano, Obi and Mudingayi. But watch out on the wings because of the battle between Lichsteiner and Nagatomo.

In defense The Nerazzurri have slight advantage offensively, it is a draw in the midfield. And in defense? The trio of Juventus in Barzagli, Bonucci and Chiellini is perhaps more solid and could bear the brunt of the more frightening attack of Inter. But the rebirth of Ranocchia, discovery of Juan Jesus and certainty of Samuel convey the small gap of the two great rivals.
