I hope this is the calm before the storm on the forum. If we all could be as positive as @Sawyer we can get a result on sunday. If not this season is over and we are f*cked. As simple as that. Our positivity and the way we feel as supporters will thankfully have no bearing on Sunday's result.

The more important question is how Inzaghi and the players feel going into this game. If they are as positive as Sawyer then they could have a chance.

However, if they show up and play the way they have for the last two months, it will well and truly be over.

Honestly, it is a shit juncture to be at this time of the season. Especially given the lead and opportunities we had, the mistakes of our opponents and generally how shit they are and the fact that we are Italian Champions.

And that is what I find most heartbreaking about this. For the last two months, we have played Banter Era football with all the weaknesses and psychological hang-ups that we had in the past, forgetting that we are Italian Champions.

With each passing week and disappointing result, 2022 and our quest for a consecutive Scudetto and second star is becoming more and more a case of so close and yet so far.
