The # 103 is all about home league games. So that recordd is ongoing!
As someone mentioned in the other thread he lost v Barca in the CL when in charge of Chelsea!

From PAO-match thread, I think my post belongs to this discussion pretty well.

Nyall2008 @ PAO-match thread said:
So you are blaming the COACH because the team's PLAYERS had bad games?! Brilliant! I definitely agree let's sell Jose and get Mancini back. He'll make everything better again.

Have I ever said "get Mancini back" ? No. I was the first one who wanted Mourinho for Mancini, and I'm still for it. But that doesn't deny me to criticize Mourinho for his mistakes.

Someone said here that it was an almost identical lineup/system like against Juventus. Very wrong. Against Juventus we didn't use any winger from the start and didn't rely on them at any moment, thus we can say we didn't use "winger-system".

Yesterday, we started with Figo, who played on the flanks. For the second half, we switched to 4-2-4 with TWO wingers playing on the flanks. So yesterday's system got nothing to do with the system used against Juventus.

If one can't see the differencies between these two matches (apart from the result and fighting of our players), then one shouldn't come here and tell how the things have gone as one doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. Or of course one can come and tell, but he should also read what others have to say, maybe one can learn from their posts.

Point is, our team isn't suitable for wingers because there aren't suitable midfielders for that formation/system. It's so useless to have one winger on Maicon's flank, doing nothing else but waiting. The defender marks him and he can't get anywhere. We saw that yesterday many times, when Balotelli was there just standing as he couldn't get anywhere. Maicon was coming with the ball or passing, Mario just stood there because there was no room.

Okay, PAO did an excellent job to restrict our offensive play to just crosses, but Mourinho didn't help us either. It was pretty easy for PAO to deny anything dangerous happening through the middle as we had players standing on the flanks. Not roaming near the flank or running from middle to flank or from flank to middle, but just standing on the flank. Lack of movement is our biggest problem still and I've been saying this for the whole season.

Probably that winger-system wouldn't work generally even if our wingers moved more as Quaresma or Mancini don't have a great vision and quick mind to make good passes in movement and short time. Mourinho should just use the good old 4-3-1-2 where that AM is either Stankovic, Muntari, Figo or Jimenez. Wingers could be used only for totally free role position-wise, but with defensive responsibilities.

I have never been a fan of A.Mancini, and like I said before, he is way to inconsistent. Having a couple of great games, and then completely disappearing out of the picture.

But it is very ridiculous and sad, what Mourinho is doing to him.
Mancini has been very poor for us, no questions about it. But if you compare his performances with that of Quaresma, Mancini seems like a candidate for Ballon D'or.

Its really sad that Mourinho continues to give chances to his Portuguese lover and ignoring Mancini, who really had a few good games for us in the beginning. I am pretty sure he can do much better on the pitch, than Quaresma, to whom calling a disappointment would be the understatement of the century.

I dont know what Mourinho is trying to do. We all know he is heavily biased in promoting his own set of players. Either the rigorous chase of Lampard and now Drogba, with the rumours are surfacing that Mou is ready to sacrifice our whole attack line, just to get this 31 year African love, who can barely kick a ball these days, or starting Figo in kind of a crucial CL match, who in all honesty wouldnt even make it to the starting lineups of Chievo and Lecce.

Or it could be due to the fact, that Quaresma was only bought because of Moruinho's insistence. And now Mou is desperately trying to prove that his flashy 30mill signing can work in SERIE A, at the expense of the team.

Mou: Inter deserve more respect
Sunday 30 November, 2008
Jose Mourinho was pleased with Inter’s performance in the win over Napoli, but had harsh words for the demanding fans.

The Nerazzurri were 2-0 up through Ivan Cordoba and Sulley Muntari before Ezequiel Lavezzi sealed the 2-1 scoreline.

“We totally deserved to win this match and dominated the first half,” said Mourinho as he maintained at least a three-point lead at the top of the table.

“Napoli did score a great goal, but I do not recall a real scoring opportunity for them other than that.

“We are on the right track to pick up a number of points before the Christmas break. We could have scored more, but in any case managed to get enough goals to win.”

Mourinho has criticised his team after their embarrassing 1-0 home defeat to Panathinaikos midweek, cutting Ricardo Quaresma and Mario Balotelli from the squad.

“In this moment I am happy with what my side is doing and we must continue like this, because the chasing pack are not slowing down.

“Milan, Juventus and Roma all win their games. The Giallorossi are a little further back, but last season they were able to close up a similar gap and almost won the title.”

However, the Special One did have some words of complaint for the increasingly demanding San Siro supporters, who jeered Douglas Maicon and Julio Cruz today.

“This team deserves more from its fans. It was disappointing to hear whistling against a player like Maicon, who today stepped on to the field despite the doctors advising otherwise.”
--------------------------------------------------------

The team deserves more from the fans? Thats BS, if anything the fans deserve more from the Team. Imagine having paid good money to see that outrageous 0-1 home defeat to the greeks and then hearing this jackass comming out saying the team need more from the fans :drunk:

But he is right, they shouldnt jeer on the players, they should jeer on him. And if Maicon is playing despite doctors advice, then there is something wrong with the way he manages the team. Letting a key player, play injured, thats clever....

Maicon looked ok and he played a good match, if he wasnt able to play he should have said so. Also what people are saying about jose is not true, today he left out his so called lover quaresma, and the team do deserve more respect from fans, defeats can happen but until now the team is on top of the league, qualified for the second round and won a trophy in the beginning of the season, if you ask me we are doing great until now with the exception of the loss to milan.

to compare mancini with quaresma is obviously ridiculous. mancini is just a normal football player and quaresma is an artist. no doubt about it. but, in what concerns mourinho relations with rq77, why did mourinho leave him home today ? the 30 m would be better today at home ? mourinho is much more cleaver then you imagine and your text shows that you are miles away of what is going in his head. it is not the same level. is another world. and do not try to explain things form another world with reasons from this one. it is pathetic.

This guy cracks me up with every post.

RQ an artist :howler:, i agree. Kinda in the same way a clown is considered an artist as well, circus artist.

Come to think about, RQ would probably have a bigger chance of succes in a circus as well.

I can't believe fans were whistling Maicon today. He's one of the best and most deserved of all victories!

Yup.

...

I also think Jose wasn't angry at fans because the stadium is not full, but because the fans are jeering the players.

And for the record, it is not Curva Nord. It is actually those loosers, standing there behind the benches(for example).

ps. Still not a single response from "Quaresma - Jose" fans, after he was left out for todays game ? :)
Why oh why, does it not suprise me ? :>

Don't make me pull out a RQ youtube montage...:rollani:

Seriously though, It's a shame Mancini hasn't been getting any minutes.
I know everyone keeps saying it but RQ will also eventually come good... Hopefully soon.

Jose is right that fans should not be jeering our team. Look at Milan man, the fans should kill the players given how they are playing

Our fans has been horrible this season. Jeering you is the worst thing your fans can ever do.

If they don't want to support they can stay at home. This is fucking ridiculous, we're on top of Seria A and we still get jeered by our own fans?

Those must be a bunch of AzzKikrs
