As Opeum said, fucken genius. Mancini uses this 25 player squad limit as an excuse to hide behind and validate his abysmally inexplicable attempt to offload Shaqiri, then we go fill one of those supposedly highly contentious, limited places with a C-grade player with a heart condition. Fucking spastic.

I am pretty sure Mancio had nothing to do with the signing of Biabiany apart from asking for wingers... This has Inter management written all over it, just like the last time we re-signed him.

Instead of unveiling him, they should post a link on inter.it to the video of his last unveiling :yao:

Biabiany: I want to stay here!

http://www.inter.it/en/coversquadra

Jonathan Biabiany believes Inter he can help Inter 'climb high in the league', and is eager to 'show what he can do'.

The 27-year-old was diagnosed with cardiac dysrhythmia in September of last year, a condition which made his heart beat at an irregular rhythm, and was forced to stay away from the pitches for the entire season.

After signing on a four-year deal for Inter as a free agent, the Frenchman was quickly asked when he would be fit to play.

“I'm not sure,” he responded, in his introductory press conference. “You can't put a date on it. It depends on how my body responds.

"I've come back to prove myself all over again after a year on the sidelines. I want to show what I can do.

“I'm going to give it my best shot here, vying with great players. I'm ready for a new experience.

"I'm not afraid - I wouldn't have been able to come back if I were. I'm here because I don't have any fear.”

Biabiany made his professional debut with Internazionale in 2007 before being loaned to Chievo, Modena and Parma, and he said he was glad to be back.

"I have an excellent relationship with this club. It's where I grew up. Inter were always my first choice.

"The team has been strengthened with some great signings. I think we'll have a successful season.

"I hope to get back to 100% fitness as soon as possible, do my best here and climb high in the league.

"My first summer training camp was with [Coach Roberto] Mancini so it's exciting to be back with him again this year."

Was close to Parma's most important player, when he stopped playing they got relegated.

Cassano...

Cassano didn't do crap for them last season. Cassano effectiveness is all but non existent without players around him that move a lot without the ball. Especially considering that he barely moves himself. Cassano was effective for Parma when they had Biabiany, when Biabiany stopped playing Cassano was very poor.

I think we all know there was a little bit more to that than what was missing on the field.

With that being said though, I agree he can be a dangerous player. However he has to be utilized correctly and I just question whether or not we'll be able to get the best out of him in our system. We certainly won't be counter attacking most teams.

I wasn't trying to imply that all the off-field stuff wasn't the main reason why they got relegated, but on the field he was definitely very very important to Parma. Losing him made it far more difficult for them to stay up. Obviously it wouldn't have mattered as they went bankrupt

I'm not trying to say that he'll succeed here either, but he's free, and he was one of the very best players at his former club before his heart problem. So i'm not sure why so many are complaining.
