Still a frustrating player. But I'll root for whoever's wearing our shirt and giving his all for the team. Lautaro has only scored 5 goals this season and Tucu's tally (while not representative of his contribution) might motive him to improve.

I wouldn't mind seeing a 3-4-1-2 with dzeko and lautaro in front. While he definitely is not an AM his ability to dribble and take on a defender is something no one else on the team has. Sanchez shows glimpses but has lost too much speed to do it consistently.

I think the match against Udinese clearly showed this guy is useless against teams that park the bus. When he found space, he made an impact.
Not sure we've seen enough of JC to make that call with certainty. And Udinese is a very physical side, where JC struggles.

What it is clear to me is that JC is better suited to a tiki-taka style of play with short passing and intelligent movement. Unfortunately we don't have the players with the requisite skill set to pull this off. I think things will improve once chemistry builds and Inzaghi's vision unfolds (with time). But that said we're a physical team, we don't do that soft, prancing around like Roma and Milan, so JC needs to man up and get in the mix physically or consider himself disposable.

The first goal is why Inzaghi wanted him. He is a frustrating player but the ability to actually create your own chance and take it is why he’s here.
None of current strikers can finish like that, has to be said. not with that composure and accuracy.

His first goal was his trade mark, we must that he will doing this alot more, he pretty much the only one who have the abilty to dribble in our team, but inzaghi must give him more chances than he given him until now..
he needs to earn it, no more pussy footing, he has an opportunity to be a definite starter with us, it's in his hands.

Yeah, Correa is a deadly transition player. Usually when he has played, we haven't had such opportunities to hit them at the break. I feel Correa will never be a starter for us because Inter is a team which won't get to do these transition plays too often. Funnily it happened against Udinese who came to Meazza to basically just park the bus. :D

Even in bus parking games there are these moments. Unless you’re playing against a 10 men team in the last 30 min or something. Agreed though unless he develops more to his all around game he is probably going to be more of a situational player for us.

I actually think he could be great in CL games. Nobody really parks the bus in that competition because they’re all used to winning and dominating games in their domestic leagues.

Yeah totally agree. Just get more confidence and he can be even a starter in CL matches. He just needs to get rid of the surfing mode where he's a bit out of the game, needs to fight for every ball and opportunity. But he's definitely better fit for international games.

He suprised me with his finishing which was already a discussion point this summer(and proven to be rightly so). Both goals were perfectly finished by him and you wonder why he doesn't show this composure more often.

He made very nice runs today, god know we need this kind of runs, very nice asist to toro...
For me I thought the sure call would be passing the one to the left but I guess he did the right choice. His run was good but the assist wasn't anything special. The goal was very nice, good way to end that drought.

Still a work in progress. Not sure if he's up to it but needs to do more (on and off the ball)
