Atleast Inter are investing to the defence which has been the biggest problem.

Inter probably wanted Miranda more than Atletico wanted to get rid of him so they managed to squeeze couple millions extra from him.

This deal's success is on the edge of a razor blade.

For me, if he was even turning thirty and not thirty one, I'd be happy spending 12+3M for him, now I'm not so sure.

It's all about how much years he can give us and 3>2 when it comes to spreading the amortisation of a player.

I haven't watched him at all, I have no idea how good he is, ofc I've watched ATM in CL but Godin stole my attention and really I don't follow other teams much.

If he's truly a WC defender and can give us even two good years I'd be happy. If he's 'good' and in decline it's a different story but let's hope or the best.

Good deal - perfect for our team right now! Next Imbula and we can start sell ;)

Good buy, finally some initiative and a player who did great for a club that fought for all sort of titles. 3 classes above anything that we currently have in CB position. More transfers like this and we will get somewhere eventually.

*cough* Vidić *cough*

And also, 15 for Miranda is ok, but 5 for Rolando isn't :/

and while we're at it, fuck you ausilio. if we spend 40 mill on imbula and miranda this mercato, i really dont know what to say. how is any of this financially healthy? what happens if we miss out on Champions League next season (which is quite possible)? even so, 70 mill from group stages wont cover it, thats for sure.

the main thing that pisses me off about ausilio is that we didnt have that much of an improvement on branca. its like the people in charge dont even see the problem.

what club has rebuilt in the way we're rebuilding? what club has splurged like 70 mill in the summer and has a crazy wage budget after finishing eighth and is in severe debt, and has STAYED at the top without spending crazy amounts of money every year? answer: no one. not barca, not united, not bayern, not juve. because repeating moratti's financial negligence and gambling everything for champions league qualification is not a tenable rebuilding strategy.

We spend just 3m for Miranda for Imbula we also can make 2 year pay so 13m from our budget is very very good! Also we want Montoya or Felipe Luis on loan and Jovetic or Salah also on loan and Mbia for free ;) We can spend 20m for 5 very good players:

Miranda 3m loan + buy
Mbia /free/
Felipe Luis /loan + buy
Imbula - 20m /10m now or 20m now/
Jovetic or Salah /loan + buy/

Do you continue think this is not good job from Ausilio ? ;)

also Kovacic, Icardi and Handa - staying is also very good job!

who gives a shit if they're loans? we'll still be spending 15 mill for miranda. jovetic will cost 15 mill. salah will cost 20 mill. filipe luis will cost 15-20 mill (we're not even linked). imbula will cost minimum 20, probably 25. a total of 95 million euros spent - that is fucking retarded. hell, our team would be better off if we spent that money on one superstar.

more importantly, you dont need 11 world class or future world class to finish top 3. you guys have no patience and that is the biggest problem with all of this high risk high reward bullshit - there is no room for patience. and that is this club's biggest problem.

Ausilio and ET want to risk - If we dont qualify for CL next year we will just sell one of Kova or Icardi - They do what we need to do ALL FOR CL OR NOTHING ;)

so its basically "EITHER WE QUALIFY FOR CHAMPIONS LEAGUE THIS YEAR AND SPEND 100 MILLION EUROS OR WE GO BANKRUPT" :einstein: we will sell just one of kova or icardi? are you retarded? we will have to sell both as well as everyone else. even if we qualify for anything, i see us being banned from europe. the club is already in serious debt and it will be a lot worse if we dont qualify for champions league. i dont even think the reward of finishing top 3 is close to enough to get us in the green, let alone break even on transfer spending.

instead of targeting fifth place next year and building our way up to third place, the scudetto, and eventually be competitive at the european level - building up the reward while maintaining the low risk, we'll fall at the very bottom with our current strategy unless everything goes perfect. I repeat, no club has ever rebuilt in this way because there is no room for patience in such a plan, which is the most important thing if you want to create a winning cycle. its the slitztheory all over again.

We could be banking on FPP disappearing.

that's a lot to be banking everything on. and honestly, i dont care about FFP. i care about having some long term success, which we havent had for the past 50 years. our strategy, or lack thereof, is a lot more alarming. the teams going to be entertaining to watch next season, sure, but these days ive been having a lot of flashbacks to the moratti days when i think about the clubs strategy. we were successful after calciopoli, but before that... everything was crazy. in both a good and a very bad way.

It's nice to see on transfermarkt Miranda worth €22m :D

Also he pushed David Luiz from the starting line up in Brazil and played CL final year ago.

Pushing David Luiz out of the starting line up is not an achievement.

Nemanja Vidic captained Manchester United in the Champions League final four years ago. need i remind everyone that pandev started in madrid? im not comparing miranda to those players, im saying you shouldnt judge a player based on the quality of his team, even if he may add to their quality.

also, by far the biggest problem with this deal is financial.
