Something like that. If JM can't be used as a starter (can't be relied on), we should monetize the asset. Too big pile of cash sitting on a bench.

Of course the problem is how big that pile really is, meaning can we find that buyer who makes the pile big.

I would sign a midfielder and send JM on loan, preferably to a Serie A team. If that doesn't do him any good then nothing will.

What makes you think he would agree to be loaned in any average team of Serie A? Dude thinks is too good lol, he doesn't even look like wanna play here as well. No granta, no efforts, no nothing... he is basically walking around the pitch.

A loan to Spain would make most sense. His style is suited for that type of game. Maybe a club like Villarreal with an understanding that we have a clause or first option to guys like Sansone and Soriano if they decide to make the deal permanent. It's hard to get the money we need for FFP and for our own transfer strategy because there's no one with that kind of money for him now.

The only chance for a direct transfer at this point is to some desperate EPL club that has enough money, something like a Bournemouth, Watford or Newcastle or whatever. The problem is accepting to go a club not playing in Europe. If we're lucky, Liverpool will come to compensate our lack of % on the Coutinho sale and give it all for Joao Mario if they cannot get Lemar or basically anyone else. I think he'd actually succeed there.

Has anybody even inquired about Mario though?I mean this is just us indulging in some next level wishful thinking here.I am sure all clubs have seen his performances this season and even last season and based on them he doesn't seem worth much money at all.His failures at almost all positions across our midfield should mean he either stays here or at most some Portuguese club takes him back on loan. There is simply no way we can sell this guy in January. He most definitely is not going to unlock our winter mercato :howler:.Even entertaining that thought is stupid at this point.

We could pay part of his wages. Better than benching at Inter and paying the full salary.

Or loan him out to his previous club, like we are probably doing with Gabigol, and hope he rediscovers some of his value.

Its criminal that our most expensive purchase in history is a waste of space on our bench.

There probably was one, i am guessing he took a shotgun to himself.

And that is insane, these 4 midfielders had no business ever being on our radar.

Quaresma maybe was a bet to be made because he was recommended by Figo, his talent and he did well when he went back to Porto, the other 3, WTF.

I sort of understand what the creator was thinking. He intended to put gobigaol at the front three, omitting Ronaldo from the lineup, and had Mancini as right WB. But, gibagol purchase was too stupid while Ronaldo purchase was too iconic therefore he shoved the former to the right winger.

Attack is top-notch, but besides those three and maybe two others (you know who they are), my God, most of these expensive fuckers are embarassing flops.

The Joao Mario and Gabigol deals were so bad that you gotta wonder is there is any suspicious stuff going on. I read that over 40% of the fees we paid for these two went to 3rd parties... That raises many questions, and makes me wonder whether the claims that football clubs are laundering money are not partly true.

Edit: Interestingly if you google Kia Joorabchian and money laundering, guess what comes up... I had forgotten about this:

This looks very shady tbh.

Yep, been screaming this for months, Suning made a mistake in trusting him but I dont blame them for using an intermediary.

What is even more disturbing is why so many people here expected much form someone who can't even take a proper shot.

Don't think Suning need to get rich from a transfer, they want to grow their brand into Europe off Inter.

Joao Mario and Coco must be the 2 worst transfers we have made in our history. Can't say anything about Gabrigol yet, I'm afraid that it might turn out like Coutinho after some years.
