Zanetti is good but his time past. Coaches thought he was 2 old 2 world cups ago and it really bit them in the ass. If he was in your last WC you could have lifted it. Zanetti at 36 was still a top class RB, at 40 he is decent but def not WC material. I know people here look at him with beer goggles on. IT was awful coaching that screwed you. Neither Spain nor Holland are that good or were that good. 2010 was the worst WC I have ever seen and even Paraguay without their top scorer and player almost made it to the final. Uruguay with shit Forlan got almost to the end as well.

Yeah, I know that he is not WC material, but neither Rojo (who plays as a LB in NT, although, yeah, he actually is a CB, Sabella genius IMO, Zabaleta could play as a LB and JZ as a RB, but that other topic), Basanta, Otamendi or Ansaldi are WC material !! Zanetti won't be as good as 2010, but still is better than what we have, I've seen it every qualifying game... I still remember how Rojo couldn't fucking stop Zuñiga...

Losing one game then going on to beat every team without conceding seems like a fairly brilliant fucking team to me. Only beat one good team? So then Italy must be pretty shit to only be knocking out Australia and Ukraine before knocking out Germany. They can only beat what they get put in front of them, which they did.

Missing their top goalscorer for the tournament doesn't mean they ''nearly won the World Cup'' like you said.

I read that he was going to play 6 months at some 3rd or 4th division team that he started playing at. Unless he is buying the team that makes 0 sense. Then others say he will be a director which is better. We need people who actually care about the club in management just keep him the FUCK away from transfer market think he says positive things about just about anyone we are linked to. Guy is way way too nice.
