I actually want him to stay as I read we are going to replace him with Southampton's Dusan Tadic...

I'm Serbian so I watch quite a bit of Tadic. He's actually a good, tricky player and had been beasting at the World Cup qualifiers. He's assisted or scored pretty much every single one of our goals, which is insane. He can also play behind a striker.

However, Perisic is a better player although I won't compare them as they are different. I think Perisic has done more and in bigger games. If it's a trade between Perisic and Tadic, I wouldn't take it. However, if Tadic was brought in and we got another startery (and better than Perisic) that would be good.

Overall I think Tadic can be a very good buy (as long as price is not crazy) but a single like for like replacement wouldn't improve us much. Keeping Perisic and adding Tadic would be good though.

Haven't watched Tadic with the Serbian NT, but at Southampton he seems to be a player with massive swings in form that frustrates the fans half the time. (I have a bit of soft spot for Southampton, which under Poch and Koeman were playing a very un-Premier-League style of football). Is he a consistent performer with Serbia?

I've heard the same about Southampton as I've only watched them a few times, which is why I was a little weary. For Serbia he's been the opposite as he is pretty much seen as the leader of the team. He's been pretty much world-class in the World Cup qualifiers.

Serbia has scored 12 goals total in 5 games, and Tadic has 4 goals and 7 assists, so he's pretty much been the best player by far. He's a good dribbler and creative player. He's done great at linking up with our forward Mitrovic who's nowhere near as good as Icardi (only better in the air).

I watched Tadic more in the EPL last season and I remember him having very good games against Chelsea and Man U particularly. Like I said, I'd prefer Perisic to stay, and Tadic would not be my first option as if we have money, I think we can do better. However, I think he'd be a good option to have in the team, but I hope he's not a 'big buy' because it would be underwhelming. I'd prefer us to buy a world class attacker, and then if we get him, he'd be an addition to that (if he doesn't cost much).

Ideally, I'd love if we can get rid of Candreva, get a world class player and then potentially add Tadic.

Sky Italia reports that Inter could keep hold of Ivan Perisic, as Manchester United’s offer is too low.

The Nerazzurri need to raise money by June 30 in order to comply with Financial Fair Play, and it was reported earlier today that the winger was likely to be sold.

However, this evening on ‘Calciomercato L’Originale’, Sky journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported that the Croatian international is likely to stay.

It’s thought the Beneamata want between €55m and €60m, while the Red Devils are offering just €40m [£35m].

In addition, incoming Coach Luciano Spalletti is believed to be keen to keep hold of Perisic, so Inter will try to raise the necessary money by selling other players.

Marcelo Brozovic is wanted by Roberto Mancini’s Zenit St Petersburg, while Villarreal, Everton, Crystal Palace and Stoke City are interested in Jeison Murillo.

Ever Banega could be sold to China, while Andrea Ranocchia is also up for sale after he decided not to remain with Hull City after their resignation.

Good luck dealing with Southampton. They want 60 Million for a CB, so they might want around same for one of their best attacker.

Why is Banega's future between a) being reluctantly kept by Inter or b) getting sent to China.

He's a good player.

FIF created a monster, next summer we'll all be looking at his tweets instead of Di Marzio's :D

Manchester United ‘closer than ever’ to Ivan Perisic

According to a report from Italian outlet Calciomercato.it this evening, Manchester United are closing in on the signing of Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic.

Lengthy saga
In a story that seems to have been rolling on for months now, Croatian talent Perisic has reportedly already agreed terms with the Premier League giants, with United having spent several weeks attempting to thrash out a deal with Perisic’s club, Serie A side Inter Milan.

Reports have indicated that the initial bid from Jose Mourinho’s men, thought to be in the region of 40 million Euro, was rejected out of hand by the Nerazzurri board.

Closing in
However, Calciomercato’s latest update insists that the Old Trafford club have since upped their offer to around the 55 million Euro mark, the reported minimum asking price for Perisic.

Hence, it has been suggested that a deal between the sides could be struck as early as this weekend, as Jose Mourinho may finally get his hands on one of his side’s key transfer targets ahead of next season.

Sky still are saying that the United offer is too low (45 M) so Inter wants to keep him.

Man Utd can find other targets for less than 55m. For our sake, I hope they tell Inter to fuck off.

Keep Perisic, and try instead to sell the pile of garbage that we have. I think we can get more than Perisic's sale price from all of them combined. Think about Ranocchia, Nagatomo, Ansaldi, Kondogbia, Biabiany, Murillo, Medel, Jovetic, Brozovic and God knows what else we have on our books. All of them are either useless or easily replaceable with much cheaper/free players who can do the same job or more. They're not adding anything special to this club.

I would keep Kondogbia. But if we get Nainngolan then he can go!

I know that my opinion on Kondogbia is very unpopular here, but he would be the first player I'd sell really. He's by far the most expensive player on that list. He also has the second highest salary in the club. His salary is even higher than Perisic's himself!

No matter how highly anyone values his contribution to the team, it's still not worth his high 3.5m euros salary. Any decent midfielder from a mid-table Italian club can offer whatever Kondogbia is offering to this team, and for much less cost/salary. He's not adding anything special.

You wanna free up some of our FFP limitations? underachieving expensive players like Kondogbia is a good place to start, not Perisic.

He's very active lately. After mocking Juventus on instagram he was first to congratulate Modric and Kovacic in Croatian NT camp, with a cake of course :D

He also got special permission to participate on beach volleyball tournament in Croatia in pair with Croatian professional beach volleyball player. I don't know will they play in main tournament (600k fond) or in exhibition matches but I've read that tickets are on fire on that dates when he should play (three matches).
