he wants to come back....

I am against it Di Marco has been excellent and we have Gosen. Even if we sell Gosen we should have a younger player as Di Marco's back up

He went to Spurs for money, playing in a different league, money, Conte, and also money. And all five of those reasons are fine. He also knew full well that, if winning anything meaningful was important, that he was never going to do it at that pathetic club. I sure hope he didn't end up surprised at how things turned out with Spurs this year and has remorse as a result.

According to Calciomercato, Perisic regrets joining Tottenham and has already discussed a possible return with Marotta

And AGAIN, it doesn't matter if he is willing to lower his salary. The thing is, we have to move on. Same example with Lukaku. I'm pretty sure both would be willing to lower their salaries because they can't find a better environment than Inter (for themselves), but Inter has to think of new ideas. We can't hold ourselves like a hostage to these players.

Lukaku isn't that old, but his decline is significiant. A few good games can't justify that expectation everyone had from him, especially how many absences he's had throughout the season. And even now, he's still far form his best and one may be doubtful if he's ever gonna be THAT good again.

Perisic on another note has been whoring to Inter for quite a some time now. Don't wanna go further but seriously if we keep Lukaku for another season and eventually bring Perisic back then we are doing step backwards. This isn't the ideal solution if we wanna remain competitive.

I still trust Inter to find exciting attackers. We really need to let Perišić and Lukaku go. As long as we aren't financially healthy, sacrifices like that must be made and we have to give more trust into cheaper (hopefully younger) options like we did with Lautaro.

Perisic was great for us last season.I don't follow Tottenham, but he has 12.assists this season, which is solid stats in my view. He will come as rotational player, not as starter. So, I don't see any downgrade, if he take Gosens spot.

Let's say we sell Gosens and get enough money for another smart transfer, like Pavard.

I would only be prepared to take Perišić on a one season loan.

I couldn't care less if he regrets it or not. Club has moved on, we are settled on his position, we have bigger needs and we have no reason to bring him back. He made a choice last summer. Now he needs to live with it.

Nah, thanks but no thanks.
Even if he lower his wage, from 6m net at Spurs to let say 5m now, why would we even consider offering that amount for a rotational role? It's not like the LWB positions are unsettled or that we don't have any other options.

Love Ivan but cmon he is old. He is not even that good in NT. If he can come for one year and low salary ok then. More than that its a hard pass.

Nobody will give him 5 mln now. He can hope for max 4 mln, and the team should be very interested.

There's no reason to take him back. We need more players with upside. Perisic only has downside at this point in his career.

I have no idea how someone is so persistent on his return. It will be stupid to give 4 million (lol) for 35 years old player when we are already set with Dimarco and Gosens. Even if Gosens departed, it would better to find younger alternative than someone who will only regressed.

I'd argue that Lukaku in the last two months is the best he's ever been. It's true that he's not as fast as he was 2 years ago, but other than that everything else is better. The general play, the attitude... he showed up in all important moments and never felt like he would be a liability to the team in any way.

This kinda shows Lukaku can still be very good even without his elite speed, I'm all for extending his loan, especially when there will be no international tournament next year to fuck up our players' fitness.
