He wanted to leave even before he signed his contract extension. I am not sure that publicly declaring it though was the right move from Marotta.

I am very worried we wont find an adequate replacement for him in this short time. And by an adequate replacement i mean somebody who can cover for the clusterfuck that is our starting LB who irrespective of the name somehow manages to screw things up.I have already given up on Perisic doing something important going forward but i dont think we can rely on Asamoah alone at LB with Keita hardly tracking back.

I am hoping we keep Perisic till the summer because he will provide enough cover to Asamoah for us not to drop too many points and the other pieces to provide enough in attack to ensure a top 4 finish.

Ofcourse if Spalletti was flexible with the formation it might work but that is not going to happen anyway. So i do feel its best to keep Perisic here till the summer.I think we could still command what we are commanding now in 6 months time.35-40 million doesnt seem like too much and i doubt we can get a proper replacement in that.

Does Carrasco track back?Dont think he did too well as LWB for Belgium. What were his issues at Atletico? We already have Ninja with disciplinary issues so not sure getting another badboy is too good for the dressing room.

If it means getting more teams interested and more offers coming in, it's a good strategy. Selling Perisic and trading Candreva for Carrasco would be a dream.

Actually Simeone didn't like him cz he doesnt track back. Carrasco is more explosive kind of player like Keita.

Carrasco not tracking better is still better than unmotivated Perisic. Looking at what happens at Torino now, I'd like to have a quick fancy player able to dribble past opponent and be dangerous in the attack. We concede idiotic goals with hardworkers like Perisic and Vecino, surely it cannot become worse with Carrasco who is allegedly a troublemaker.

Bein talking that he should have been left at home like Ancelotti did with Allan. Because if he plays this game and gets injured that may halt a transfer. Issue is though its the middle of the season and its not easy to find a replacement, not to mention that a good offer has to arrive first.

Spanish journalist who is especialist in International football says 40mil for Perisic is a bargain (very cheap)

It is in this market.

Miranda, Perisic... who's next? We just began resembling a semi-proper team and it's beginning to crumble, hope this doesn't lead to more of the good players wanting to leave, like Icardi, Brozovic and Skriniar.

This is so weird. Why now? The CL exit?

Well Godin is coming in, Zinho is doing well so the defense is set, The issue will be with Brozovic because apparently his release clause is a low shit number.

Prob, but he talked about the premier league before, and even in the spurs press conference.

Just another proof Marotta is Juventus trojan horse to Inter. :troll:

I am not worried about low release classes, nobody is pushing for ours overpriced stars.

I am sad that Mourinho is out of work, we could ask at least Alexis in Perisic deal. Now we have only Ozil option.

Perisic does a lot of defensive work (covering, pressing, positioning, ...) something which for example Keita is simply unable to do.

Well Keita does a lot of offensive work (scoring goals, not missing goals, winning games,...) something which for example Perisic is simply unable to do.

Probably because he thinks it's his last chance to fulfill his dream of playing in EPL. What i can't believe is he's willing to do so with fucking Arsenal. They're not even a CL team or a top 4 EPL team anymore .
