This is pretty stupid though, isn't it? If he wants to leave, shouldn't he actually try show the best of him? If the tables were turned and we were interested in signing a ManU player who has been out of form for a year now, I sure as hell wouldn't want him at Inter even if he wants to come here.

He is reducing his price and value with Inter while looking good with Croatia. Not saying it’s true but there is a possibility. SMS is probably doing the same thing.

I think Inter and ManU are in a similar situation, both are struggling giants who have failed to connect to european top clubs in recent years while also suffering from bad management. ManU will probably be more cautious after that debacle with Sanchez who is one of the best earning players in the world, yet is struggling to get game time.

You might be right that he wants to lower his price tag, but would he bring ManU to the next level? Personally I don't think so, that's also why we should look into signing a better player than Perisic.

As for SMS, I don't think he is playing purposely worse than last season. Lazio has been underperforming in general, I wouldn't shift the blame to one player. Another reason is that I just don't think he wants to make himself look like a one season wonder. SMS is a talented player, who would probably flourish under a better coach.

While we got used to the fact (or the perception) that Perisic really shows up a dozen games a season and then takes months off (at least from an “end product” perspective), it's still something frustrating to watch, even more considering that he was burned out after the World Cup and he kept playing game after game.

His countryman Boban tried to defend him last night and claimed that “Perisic is consistent”.
Whatever: against Juventus and/or PSV, that would be the perfect time to make things happen again.

Feels kinda hopeless, no matter how badly he performs Spaletti will just keep starting him. No wonder he does whatever the fuck he wants.
Ivan just revealed Spalletti made him stay by promising him game time. So at least we know why he`s always starting. I find this ridiculous and Ivan seems to take advantage of this, so Spalletti should bench him.

I was also thinking of this - and something similar happened with Nainggolan at Roma last year. Otherwise, Roma would not have sold him for such a fee. Let`s not forget how Ivan got here in the 1st place - forcing the move.

We are demanding more from him because he can and he should perform better, especially after giving him more money. Instead of being hungry, he became complacent. No matter the outcome, he should wake the f*ck up and deliver, his stats are horrible this year.

If by any chance perisic and man utd are still flirting, and ivane is sparing himself for his beloved premier league, who are we to oppose this love? Just dish out 40 mil and everyone lives happily thereafter.

We are actually asking for more, don`t worry, we`re not in Thohir era any more.

According to FCIN, in fact, agent of Perisic (Fali Ramadani), has an offer from Bayern Munich and the track leading to Manchester United remains alive. The Red Devils were very close to the Croatian in the past as admitted by the player himself.

So what is going to be Perisic’s future? It is easy to think that he will still be an Inter player until June since it is highly unlikely to organize a sale in January because Inter would need someone to replace him. In any case, regardless of the timing of a departure, no club has put up on the table €50M requested by Inter.

We must be delirious if we expect anyone to shell out 50mil for a winger who last scored 3 and a half months ago. I hope World cup is still fresh in people's eyes.

Keeping him however doesn't mean that he should be a starter if he doesn't perform well. Keeping Perisic with a weak and non confrontational coach like Spalletti isn't a good idea at all because he will always find a way to start him with 9G even they are not ready.

Spalletti is non-confrontational? Are you fucking serious? Read Totti's book.

Rafinha goes for 35m. Why in Gods name wouldn't Perisic go for 50m euro?

I'm just thankful no one of you guys are controlling our transfers.

Where exactly did Rafinha go? Who are these clubs throwing 35mil at Barcelona? Who are the clubs throwing 50mil at Inter for Perisic?

Those might be objective values but it doesn't mean that anybody is going to willingly pay them. Especially when a player wants to force a move himself, prices/terms often go down a notch.

Its a measurement for you guys to understand.

Players don't have to be great to go for 50m euro anymore. A Rafinha that played for us under a 5-6month spell with a big fat history of injuries was going to be sold for us for 35m euro if it wasn't for FFP. Rafinha is just one of many examples.

There is zero proof that we would have bought him for 35m€. It's an alternative reality/history that there wouldn't be FFP for us. The truth is no club has paid 35m€ for Rafinha.

Assuming we were to sell Perisic and his probable destination is the Premier League, take into account the amount of money those clubs are spending on players. 50m€ is 27m£, there's no way in hell a player of Perisic's quality goes that cheap. That's the same amount United spent on Fellaini before the market exploded.

Fair enough Perisic has been poor this season, but this club and any potential buyers know he's capable of a lot more. He's not going to go for such a low price.

Regardless, I'd still rather find a way to get him back into form than sell him because I can't see us signing someone better than him.

Getting less than 60m for Perisic from a PL club even in this form would be criminal.

I would be happy with 6mil tbh.

Or you can add Muntari to it if you want.
