Heard Spalletti talk about Perisic today on their instagram account reminding us how important runs Candreva and Perisic makes (when defending) but especially Perisic.

Probably because DDA can actually defend. Where as our left backs are fucking useless.

Yeah, we clearly saw DDA actually defend last game.

Most likely he was talking about D'Ambrosio overall this season not just one game. In addition, having a game off out of 11 is exceptionally good even for top players, let alone D'Ambrosio.

yeah just like M.Adnan said, D'Ambro is having a great season with us aside from last game. And in one on one situations he usually holds his own. Where as Naga or any of our left backs for that matter is a wreck. Perisic has to help him so much which obviously takes away from his attacking game unfortunately.

Agreed.

Yeah my bad, I just mixed him up with some other guy on the forum who said we don't judge for overall season but from the latest game.

What a funny article. From "Mourinho fuming over failure to sign Perisic" to "Mourinho wanting to go to PSG" to "Perisic is not considered one of the best wingers in Europe"

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly serious about leaving the club to take over at Paris Saint-Germain as he remains angry over one major failure in the summer transfer market.

The Red Devils boss is said to regret the club’s unwillingness to pay up for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic, whom he saw as crucial to his side’s hopes this season, according to ESPN.

United have struggled in recent games and now sit eight points behind league leaders Manchester City, with Mourinho reportedly angered by how much Pep Guardiola was backed in the transfer market by comparison.

Perisic could also have helped provide more ammunition for striker Romelu Lukaku during what has been a bit of a dry spell for the Belgian, who is now seven games without a goal for his club.

Still, it seems unrealistic of Mourinho to blame his side’s failings on missing out on one player, who likely wouldn’t even be ranked as among the best wingers in Europe at the moment.

ESPN claim Inter wanted £50million for Perisic, but in the same summer Mohamed Salah moved to Liverpool for just £34m (according to BBC Sport), while Douglas Costa moved from Bayern Munich to Juventus on loan.

Clearly, other more affordable options were out there, but it seems there wasn’t much of a Plan B to Perisic for Mourinho, who may now be prepared to try a change of scenery over the dispute.

The Portuguese is known for being a difficult and demanding character, and clearly feels United cannot match his ambitions in the transfer market at the moment, unlike PSG who splashed out on Neymar and Kylian Mbappe this summer.

Like I've said earlier, Mourinho knows exactly Perisic's explosive capabilities specially when utilized around quality players. Man Utd should've raised their offer for such an all-around winger. They're idiots and Mourinho's right on this. Well, lucky for us.

He's a joy to watch for Croatia maybe because he doesn't have to do as much dirty work for them.

Didn't have the best of games as some of his touches were really sub-par, but he assisted the first and played a great role in the third goal.

It also has to be said how much defensive work he does. He wins so many defensive headers as well. It's no wonder he's played every minute of every game. That first assist deserves major credit. Most players would shoot but this guys knows Icardi's right there and he's putting it in the back of the net.
