Pretty smart really. Next season is the last year Real's buyback clause for Morata is valid, so if Real buy him back they can just bring back Berardi after another year's developement, or alternatively keep Morata.

Comments from agents of Milan targets:

- “We thank Milan, who did everything to get him, but he preferred the Atletico Madrid project." - Agent of Jackson Martinez

- “Milan? They can't afford a player of his calibre." - Agent of Cavani

- “But Milan is not an option because they aren’t playing in the Champions League" - Agent of Arda Turan

- “However, the lad is fascinated by the project that Roberto Mancini proposed to him. It’s false to say he just went for the money, as Kondogbia wanted Inter and accepted lower wages. After all, he would’ve earned more under the Milan contract." - Agent of Kondogbia

I am loving it! :troll:

Rumour is that even Witsel has told Milan that he prefers all his other suitors over Meewan! :megusta:

No Witsel and No Luiz Adriano for Milan:
Milan has reportedly been turned down by Zenit St Petersburg's Axel Witsel and Shakhtar Donetsk's Luiz Adriano.

After failing to secure Geoffrey Kondogbia and Jackson Martinez, the Rossoneri are being faced with more closed doors.

According to Tuttosport, the most recent reports about Witsel contradict earlier claims that the Belgian midfielder already had a deal with il Diavolo.

The publication states that the player turned down Milan and said his preference was to play in the Premier League, or else for Juventus should he join Serie A.

The Gazzetta dello Sport further reports that Luiz Adriano is no longer an option.

The Brazilian reportedly found a deal with Al-Ahli in the United Arab Emirates and will be leaving Europe.

I know that expression. It's the expression you make when you hope that you're dreaming and you try to wake yourself up, but to no avail.

Dailymail - It 's the month of Inter, taken Imbula and Montoya. Now you need to watch ...
June 2015 will be remembered as one of the great hits of the 'Inter that within ten days he revolutionized his rose. Blitz by winning in Monte Carlo for Kondogbia, ripped to the tune of millions at Milan, the last two business. Those of Montoya and Imbula. A hour is expected announcement. Barcelona full-back will arrive in Milan at the court of Roberto Mancini (who yesterday announced the separation with his wife), in two-year loan with the right of redemption. The midfielder, however, will come in loan sale (a million) with the right of redemption set at 19 million. A market of many "IOUs" and loans (with this formula is arrived at Appiano Gentile also Miranda, Brazilian defender of 'Atletico Madrid) linked mainly to the results. It will be essential, in the next season, win a place in Europe.

Even better if the Champions League. The flip side is that arrivals (remember also Murillo and Zukanovic) are doing to change your mind to others. Santon and Kuzmanovic are not convinced to go to Watford and the same Shaqiri stated that it does not want to move from Milan. Need to raise cash and Spain speak of a disposal of Icardi (currently at the center of the project of Mancio) to make room for Hernandez, unredeemed by Real Madrid. He walks away, however, Felipe Melo. Obi is the idea Carpi. Puscas is close to Nantes. Milan is not sitting, but it remains a work in progress. Bertolacci Monday will make the visits and continue negotiations for Witsel Zenit. He is about to sign, barring unforeseen circumstances, José Mauri.

BIG NAMES - To attack turns up the name of Luiz Adriano (Shakhtar under contract until December 31) and is always alive the track leading to Berry. His agent is in Milan and in negotiations with Sevilla could be inserted branches. Juventus may lose her jewelry: Bonucci like to Real for after Sergio Ramos, Pogba to half of Europe (expected Barcelona in Italy) and Vidal to 'Arsenal ready to offer a little more than 30 million. Napoli moves away from Allan, but never loses sight Darmian. Duel with Watford for Perotti, while Callejon is coming back in La Liga, to 'Atletico. The club is also Iberian Thiago Motta. Liverpool and Villarreal contend Zappacosta, while Fiorentina wants Baselli and tries to convince, with retouching engagement, Salah to stay in Florence. Chievo follows Dessena and Sau of Cagliari and dreams of Abel Hernandez 'Hull City. L 'Empoli took in two-year loan, Skorupski of Rome.

“I can confirm that Milan and the player reached an agreement,” representative Sergio Barila told MilanNews.it.

“Carlos chose what is best for his future, so it’s only natural he is happy.”

He's a good striker, but 30mln for a 28/29 year old is waay too much imo. I think Galliani is a little desperate after losing out on both Kondogbia and Jackson. The latter was clearly their 1st choice for striker.

Honestly not sure Jackson is any better than Bacca. Jackson scores more but he plays for the dominant team in a weaker league. Bacca is more versatile and could even play off of another striker.

This just doesn't add up, Bacca is a good player and I'm not looking forward to face him, but the price tag is laughable for a 29 year old with many similar and cheaper alternatives, who bases his game on pace and agility. It's almost as much as Juve paid for Dybala, and more than what Vietto and Mandzukic went for.

Is it possible Bacca is partially owned by Doyen? That might explain it.

Yes, but only a fraction of it will be paid this season. For Kondogbia it's 30M + 6M or 10% of next sale (which suggests Ausilio believes he could sell him for 60M in the future)
