Anything less than a second place should be unacceptable for Inter this season. The level of the competition is pathetic.

Racist chants in Roma vs Napoli.
Safe to say Roma gonna be heavily punished or nah?! That’s reserved for Inter only.

holy fuck meret is so fucking good

I wanted him at Inter since he was still playing at SPAL. From all the young Italian GK, i believe he's the real deal.

Don't care for Meret at all tbh. Donnarumma has some complete clown moments but he's got a much higher ceiling than Meret and he's 2 years younger. I enjoy his massive fuck ups as much as anyone, but he's easily the best young Italian keeper IMO. Much better than Meret, Gollini, Cragno etc.

Anyway. Zaniolo has such a cultured left foot doesn't he. Just look at the way he strikes the ball for his goal. His wind-up, his follow-through, the angle of his foot, where and how he makes contact with the ball etc.. It's all so naturally competent and skillful. Some people just know how to strike the ball and Zaniolo is one of them. Compare him to that shitbag Politano for example. Politano always puts his foot through the ball, laces first. It's so elementary and this is why his end-product is rubbish. Zaniolo can be wasteful, and there are plenty of times where his inexperience betrays him, but he's a much more articulate player than that sprint-and-blast dickhead that we have.

I think, with that, Napoli are officially out of the Scudetto race.

Really? It's early yet. I mean I don't expect them to, but I wouldn't rule any of napoli, roma, atalanta, inter, and juve out...

many will not agree with me but personally as much Zaniolo is not bad he has attiude problems + a cunt face that i don't really like to see at Inter. We had already enough of this players, if you ask me.

he is right, Napoli is out of the race. They will never win every game. Juve has to lose a lot of points and Napoli win basically all games, thats impossibile.

I think, with that, Napoli are officially out of the Scudetto race.

Don't think they were ever in one. Koulibaly, like Skriniar, has been extremely subpar. Their full backs are a joke and I don't think they have the same kind of attacking potency as 2 years ago under Sarri. That was their time to win, but then Spalletti put subbed on Santon for Icardi.. and we know the rest. In the time since, all their stars like Mertens, Allan, Callejon and Insigne have all faded a step or two and they haven't injected any new power with the exception of Ruiz.

Ancelotti was supposed to be their star signing and take them to the next step. But all his recent league wins have been in joke leagues with the power house clubs like PSG and Bayern, where it's harder to lose the league than win it with those teams. I credit him for his EPL title, but in Serie A, he's only ever won the title once in what.. 10+ years of coaching in the league?

Napoli haven't been poor in an attacking sense. While Insigne and Callejon have declined, Milik and Mertens have been good. And Llorente and others have on bench have done decent. They have had a bit of bad luck with decisions, and general luck of play. They hit the post a couple of times against Roma, and had 2 (justified but totally non-threatening situations) penalties against them.

What they are lacking is some balance in the middle. Ruiz and Zielinski don't offer enough protection at the back and they keep getting overrun there. While they were never really a contender for the title, they are still good enough for a top 3 spot. Roma though, have been getting results and getting more stable. They could be a good fight for a CL spot along with Napoli.

I have absolutely szero hope in Torino, this game is long gone to be considered a derby, it's usually a 3-0 or 4-0 jube trashing.

Wasn't Ancelotti the guy who lost French league battle to fcking Montpellier? He is cup competition master but this Napoli needs major overhaul and can only hope to make decent run in CL, not a shot on Scudetto.

Napoli messed up by spending big on Manolas and not getting a quality midfielder to replace Hamsik.

Koulibaly always felt a bit clumsy when he's not next to a calming presence and Manolas is the definition of a clumsy defender. He's making Koulibaly seem worse and their defense is going to be in shambles as Meret is just a kid and their fullbacks aren't really great defensively.

They are paying for their bad judgement now but anyone could have seen that coming.

Their best bet was to try and get Miranda from us and go big for someone like Lo Celso, Praet or if they had the funds, Rakitic.

Well said.
Since they lost Hamsik and Sarri, they do not control the game so much as they used to. They have good attack, but their games are a bit too open. It maybe good for Europe, where the intensity is far superior, but you have to control the tempo more in the long run in Serie A.
