it's not all italy though. in central and southern italy, it's only some people in rome (most often lazio supporters and "neo-fascists") and maybe in sardinia, judging from recent events. go to cities like naples, bari, reggio calabria, palermo, catania... racism is nearly non existent.

however, go up north, it's a different story. go to cities like brescia (case in point), verona and bergamo, and you have the peak of idiocy.
