They are doing some unbelievable moves thats for sure. Zidane as Sporting Director, fresh triple CL winner, 10+ titles as RM coach. He will be close to Allegri which gives Allegri so much more edge over the opposition not to mention squad motivation you get with CR7 and ZZ alone. And If Allegri somehow fails with this years investment( fails to win CL) they could, in theory , replace Allegri with Zidane( whom has integrated to the squad already by the time he takes over)

Have to say Rube's management is top class.

Bari relegated to amatuer football, Parma might be sent back to Serie B

Surely Parma can't be relegated due to a player telling a Spezia player to not try hard? Joke or not it's not like he bribed him or something

The prosecutor actually only wants to deduct them 2 points from last season, which in return would get them relegated because the gap is 1 point only between them and Palermo.

Conte going to Milan? That would be a shrewd move by Elliot, Conte would do much better with that squad than Gattuso. It could also mean that Elliot will give Conte some money to splash around.

Also they are linked with Higuain and Moratta
That's a cool move tbh.

We might actually see Crotone in Serie A next season, praying for it to happen.

" The FIGC Prosecutor has requested a 15-point penalty for Chievo that would see them relegated for fictitious transfer figures.

The Veronese club is accused of inflating the transfer figures of a series of deals with Cesena – a club that went bankrupt this week – to make them look more valuable than they really were.

According to the evidence put forward by the Prosecutor, the value of the players traded were inflated by up to 9,000%.

The request from the Prosecutor is to dock them 15 points from the 2017-18 season, which would put Chievo in the relegation zone.

If confirmed, this would bring Crotone back up to Serie A and doom Chievo to Serie B.

The request is also for President Luca Campedelli to be banned for 36 months."

Seems like the bastards are trying to get rid of Higuain. I said last season that it was a bad transfer. He's not worth 90m. They've wasted their money and now they'll lose even more by selling him for a reported 60m. Great fucking news. The downside of this however is that they're upgrading Higuain with Ronaldo. I was hoping that they sell Dybala instead.

If they sell Higuain though ronaldo will be their CF. Be interesting to see how he does in that role.

@TheCalcioGuy

Parma striker Emanuele Calaio allegedly caught texting two Spezia players last season in Serie B telling them "not to try too hard" in a game that sealed Parma's promotion to Serie A. A point deduction over 1pt would mean Palermo promoted instead. Wild.

So its happening

Actually I can totally see Mandzukic starting as their CF and CR as LW like in Madrid with Benzema. Mandzukic's role would be to create space for CR like Benzema. Though Mandzukic is not same kind of treath excluding aerial balls.

Ronaldo played as striker for Madrid, they played 4-4-2 with Modric playing as wide midfielder and covering right side, with Isco or someone else at left side. Casemiro and Kroos in midfield.

However it started on paper, on field, they played 4-4-2 or a 4-4-2 diamond.

Conte is much better coach ofcourse than Gattuso, but their squad is not really adjusted to 3-man defense + Bonucci wants to leave.

Conte is more of a 4-4-2 guy. He played 3 in the back due circumstances. And he switched to 3 in the back with Chelsea because his defenders were average and needed more cover (with Azpilicueta being the exception).

It's sad with Bari. We have had the shit team Chievo in the league for the last 14 out of 15 seasons meanwhile way more historical important teams like Bari, Parma, Vicenza and Hellas are located in serie b or even serie c.

Conte played a 3 man defence almost throughout the last 7 years at Chelsea, Italy and Juventus. Circumstances or not, you cannot call him a 4-4-2 guy.
