Oh yeah, I agree. With the start to the season we had and the subsequent hiccups, it's clear that 3rd spot is the only feasible goal for this year. Next year we can think about second.

The best situation is Napoli beats Lazio and Lazio beats Juventus. It won't happen though. Lazio may very well steals points off Napoli and then lose 3-0 to Juventus.

He is still under a loan + option from Sampdoria. I guess it'll be exercised. Not sure what the amount is, probably 15-20m for Atalanta to redeem him. I'd be okay with him if we sign him as a Cruz type of transfer. Come to play next to a world class striker and eventually go further down in the pecking order as we will buy someone better/world class. Or hopefully groom Lautaro for that spot after a year or two. I don't see any logic in spending 20-30m on a backup striker when we'll only be using one and we have Lautaro already.
