It's really hilarious watching an experienced TV host and some Milan fans eat their word on Honda. Last season they were repeating shit about him and cars (one goal.com article comes to mind) or saying he's not worthy of a club like Milan. :dielaugh:

They're can't stop singing his name nowadays.

I've heard apart from the goals, he's been nothing special.

......what? lol isn't the fact that he's scoring what makes him special?

Of course not, any old Rooney or Ronaldo can score goals. It's having nice technique that matters.

Honda would shine more if there was a Vidal next to him instead of Muntari or a player like Kovačić.

It was a mistake that Inter didn't get him instead of Hernanes. Yes, he wasn't good enough, but he is definately one of the better players now, or at least better utilised.

If Taarabt managed to look good in Milan I don't think that's as hard as some make it out to be. :yao:

Milan would be top 3 team with a good central midfield. Their front line is scoring boatloads.

But that's the reality. We have a decent midfield with no attacking mids/wingers to feed, they have decent attacking mids/wingers but no midfield to feed them properly.

When's Montolivo coming back? If he can get into form that will make their midfield better, he catches a lot of flak but he's a good player when on form.

He's been deployed as a RW in Inzaghi's 4231-433 formations, and despite playing out of position, he's been effective and consistent so far this season. It seems that despite his roles out wide, he's been contributing in defense and pressuring. Although, there are limitations that come with a new role.

Latest news says his recovey has been delayed but there's a possibility he'll return against us.

Calcio directors and presidents rank the Top 3 decisive players & Top 3 young talents. Strange... they rate higher Bardi and Crisetig than Icardi and Kovacic :))

That awkward moment when I zoomed the pic searching for Inter players in the top 3 and I finally found Icardi and Kovacic.. And then realized its Ausilio's voting.

I mean who the fuck half of the youngsters they vote??

I didn't realise Romagnoli was so highly rated.

To be fair I think a lot of these guys were thinking talents that are trying to break through. Icardi and Kovacic are already established starters in a big club. Players like Romagnoli, Belotti, and Rugani are still making their name.

My beef with italian football, and this little graphic is a good example, is that it seems talents only break through by chance or necessity not by design. Romagnoli was not rated that highly until he went to Sampdoria and got first team minutes consistently this season. But if Samuel accepts their offer and joins Sampdoria instead of Basel, I bet Romagnoli never sees game time. Instead they would play a Samuel - Silvestre pairing, half theses guys would never name him, and it's like he never exists.

Italy needs a better way of identifying the top talent and making sure that those players get opportunities instead of just waiting for talent to find them by chance or luck. How is it that Bianchetti is the captain of the U21 national team and has 0 appearances for his club this season? Yet Rugani and Romagnoli are the super talents with plenty of Serie A minutes. If that's the case they should be in the U21 national team starting over Bianchetti so they are pushed to grow faster. And if they aren't better then him and he deserves his spot there needs to be an actual effort to give a more talented player a chance to break through at senior level.

Okaka, Djordjevic, Valdifiori as the top 3 decisive players in the league? May I ask what these ignorant shits are smoking?

Seriously, who the fuck are they? Either they're fucking with whatever newspaper published that graphic or there is reason to be genuinely concerned about the future of Italian football (when the director of Verona, Juventus, Sampdoria, and Fiorentina list a 25 year old reject who has scored 6 goals in Serie A over the last year and a half as one of the top 3 players in the league).
