Man, its just not possible to win the league with 90+ points anymore. The title winners would be at 77-78 points or something this season.

And the weather in Italy this weekend: Fantastic!

:)

Karma bite Milan in the ass. They kept a clean sheet against us after 17/18 without one and now Cagliari got their first point of the season against them.

LALALA!!
Milan at 8th
Juve at 11th
Roma at 14th

p.s. watch my word. If Roma appeal and get their two defenders back against us, it will be so F***ing bias

Just wow. What a week. There are no easy games in Serie A anymore. Best league this season if it continues like this.

Best league this season if it continues like this.

Strongest does not necessarily mean the best.

I agree that it is the toughest league out there and that makes it entertaining to see such a small gap between smaller and bigger teams, but when it comes to enjoyability it still is lacking.

Then again its subjective. I enjoy watching the EPL cause its attack attack attack, where as someone else here (god knows why) would prefer to watch Siena and Cagliari slugging it out in a tactically driven bore fest.

Agree. Even if Laliga is going pretty good as well this season. I still think the mid table strength in SERIE A beats Laliga.

To each his own though. Having midtable strength is good for a league, but doesn't really make it best. Its like if the difference between the top 10 teams in Jupiter league was 3 points, people normally wont go around calling it the best.

Also having midtable strength usually doesnt do well for champions league. EPL has been so successful in CL, because its the same four boring teams qualifying each year, who have the experience of playing at such a level. In laliga, apart from Real and Barca, there are always two different teams. This year its Atletico and Villareal. Last year it was Valencia and Sevilla. Before that teams like Betis and Celta Vigo have even qualified. Same like SERIE A, where you see the likes of Udinese, Lazio and Fiorentina qaulifying.
EPL doesnt have any midtable strength at all. Thats why you usually see the EPL teams doing so poorly in the Uefa cup.

In terms of entertainment, I have always thought SERIE A as the best. Only becoming second to Laliga after Calciopoli for a year. But thats subjective. I like it for its tactics, technique, skills and flair, but some one else here (god knows why), would prefer to watch 22 blabber heads run aimlessly and mindlessly up and down the field in a "fast paced" game between Southhampton and Bolton.

For me that kind of equates to gather 22 people on shrooms, putting them in a big round hole, and telling them that an evil monkey is chasing them and they better start running for their lives. It would be entertaining in the first 5 minutes, but jesus christ to watch that crap every weekend!!

Spain is really surprising. The other clubs Deportivo, Valencia, Celta, Villareal do well for a season or two and then fade away. Some clubs have been spending decent and getting good players but the sustainability factor isn't there at all.

Well...Barca and Real themselves aren't doing good...they are the big teams and they lose in a rate of 1 match every 3 matches for example...i remember Capello's Real Madrid season..in the end...it was like both teams were inviting each other to win the league and nobody wants it...

Middle-table and relegation battling teams are really fired up against us. I just re-watched highlights of Catania, Lecce and Bologna games. Their GKs had smth like games of their lifetimes.

While Roma-Inter and the Rome derby are on a Sunday evening, the Turin derby, Juventus-Roma, Inter-Juventus and Lazio-Inter are on Saturdays.

Napoli-Juve tonight..What a derby!!!..
San Paolo is one of the toughest grounds in Italy and if we also take into consideration Rube's important absences (Buffon,Trezeguet) it'll be very difficult for them to win there..I also don't think Ranieri can afford to lose again..
Hope it'll be a repeat of last year's result...3-1!!!...

Fiorentina won 3-0. Their squad has really improved this season. Today they started without Gila, Mutu and Montolivo. Of course Gila came on late to score 2 :boogy:

Seems like Napoli have finally sold the TV-rights to foreign stations. My first Napoli game on TV in forever.
