Yea, I'm wondering what's going on with Viola as well. On paper, they have an excellent team, a very good coach, a resurgent Gilardino, and they're sucking balls so far. They really need Gamberrini to get back to full fitness asap because he's by far their best CD.


Impressed with Lazio and Napoli. Lazio seem quite weak at the back too but I've seen a few of their games already and they're amazing going forward with Mauri/Foggia with Pandev and Zarate. Beautiful flowing football. Can't say much about Napoli as they never show their games on TV here but Hamsik is turning into a gem of a player. 3 goals already. Some club (possibly us as he's exactly the kind of midfielder we need) is gonna break the bank for him next summer.

Fiora will bounce back. They had very hard beginning of the season. Home to Fiora, away to Napoli, and now away to the most in form team(probably) Lazio. Those are 3 matches out of their 4. When the easier games kick in, they will make up a lot for the bad period.

Thing is their wont be that many easy games.
Genoa have beaten both Milan and Roma, and play them next. (only adv. Viola have is that they are at home, while Genoa's record away from home is pretty poor).

Its not like Fiorentina have been playing away to Inter, Roma, Milan or Jube or stuff like that.
If they are serious about the 4th spot, they should go to SanPaolo or Olimpico and come back with a point. They kept on accumulating one CM after another during the transfer season, but didnt do anything to replace Ujfalusi. Went after Burdisso and Barzagli, failed to land either one of them, gave up on CB and are now paying the price.
I think we might see them back in transfer makter in Jan.

If they went with those two games(Lazio and Napoli) at home, it could be +6 for them already. I agree, they don't look as solid as last year, but I see the hard period they had. I think they will make for it later on.

Jube draw today, was a great result. Great result, because it showed, and prooved, that our draw in the first round wasn't a bad result. JuBe is playing a very good football since the beginning of the year, and I wish to believe that the draw, was the consequence of the hard away game, just what happened to us.

A draw was a fair result. Samp could be a little better, but didn't deserve to win the game overal.

Genoa doesn't deserve to be loosing. The chance Milito had was 100% chance. He should score that, and he almost did. He just needed to chip this ball a little bit more.

But Genoa is playing very good. The wins against Milan and Roma, are no coincidence. They will be a hard team to crack.
