rossi and verratti were MOTM for the azzuri, cassano was close behind. Verratti is so dirty, he is worth as much as bale IMO.

Cassano wasn't really on long enough to have an effect. De Sciglio's crossing was poor.

I don't really like either player and I hate saying this because I sound like a dick but I wish it was Aquilani that had the more serious injury. I will NEVER understand what Prandelli sees in him. I cringe every time he gets picked to represent Italy, he's just the pure definition of mediocrity.

They both don't deserve to be in there tbh. Really hopes he takes Cassano and there should be room for immobile also but if i had to take only one, i'd go with cassano, no bias okerface:

He'd be even be a bigger star than Donavan in the US! He would've definitely been picked in 2006 and 2010 too.

Yeah he definitely would've been USA's best player and lead striker. currently its Altidore, who's only scored 1 goal for Sunderland in PL this year !

I think front line should be Insigne - Immobile - Cerci

Insigne - Immobile duo (backed by Verrati) from Zeman days, and Cerci-Immobile from Torino. There is plenty of chemistry there.

Italy need to experiment with new forwards, there is nothing to lose, while keeping same midfield and defence.
