Maybe, but you can't compare the players we have now with some of the players we had in the recent past, ala Belfodil. The same can be said about a lot of our players, that they are big fish in smaller ponds, but when they come to a big pond, they're as small as everyone else
I thought he had more natural talent than Icardi. Just goes to show natural talent isn't what makes someone top level player.
I do think though Mazzarri hurt his confidence a lot. After that dumb red card he basically never looked at him again and he was sold off for peanuts.
Yeah I was more excited about Belfodil than Icardi because of his physical qualities and technique.
Honestly, if he works hard and is professional I can't see why he can't be a good player for a mid table EPL side.
Linked to Everton, can't get more mid table than that!

Good for him, always liked his playing style. Hope he scores against Watford and Mazzarri
Belfodil is alive?
Goals out of nowhere. He's still shit, but the second goal (header) was well taken. Still has a nice touch / technique, just doesn't have the IQ to go along with it.Yes he sure is. Scored twice for Hoffenheim away to leader Dortmund this afternoon. Dortmund was leading 3-0 until the 75th minute. The final result was 3-3.
