That's a different issue. Just because we might not get what we need doesn't mean Suning is good for us, that was the point, and it has been for years. No one is ungrateful.
Suning has been fucking awesome for inter.

They've invested hundreds of millions, but in a sustainable way that has massively increased our revenue. It's completely different to the moratti era set-fire-to-money approach. They've hired good directors and let professionals get on with their jobs. They brought first team stability at a time we desperately needed it and have built a core for Inter that could be unchanged in five years time. They've brought trophies and competitions back too. Objectively one of the top 3 ever owners at Inter and I'd go as far as to say 2nd best when you consider their starting point and how quickly they managed it

Bottom line, If we have healthy owner, with money to spend, atleast like fucking beelan, we would be top 5 in Europe. Good luck at finding every year for free new Mhkitaryan who will perform great for us. Not gonna happen all the time.

The fact that we don't have money to spend is because of Inter, not Suning. The precise reason we don't have money right now is because Suning have spent way more than we made in the last few years.

How do people not understand this still

They could have easily decided to cut amortisation and run sustainably. They didn't.

They could have easily sold barella, bastoni, lautaro, not signed pavard, and we'd be making money these last few seasons.. literally the whole point is they are deliberately running us as loss making so we "compete" above our weight.

Yeah this goes off topic already. But, regarding the financial details, all those losses Inter makes annually means that's the money Zhangs has paid to Inter in that given year. On top of any possible shareholder loans turned to equity, which has been happening too regularly.

We made 245m losses two years ago, meaning Zhangs covered that. 245 million euros! That's not sustainable in any capacity. Healthy owner doesn't mean that owner will pour in money Moratti style. That's simply not what is going to happen. Sugar daddy times are over, Zhangs were the ones for us but now they are getting the club itself to work on its own, slowly but surely. And will probably sell soon the club soon (in few years at the latest).

Could move this convo to financial thread but I'm on mobile, so too tedious.

According to this account

Inter's net debt is 387M. Just a notion in relation to the talk in for example Twitter, mostly by fans of other clubs how Inter have 800m debt or something.

Also notice this comment

Since 2018, Suning has now converted shareholder loans of € 470M into equity.
So Zhangs have poured a lot of money to Inter.

And that 470m ignores sponsorship money etc. depending how you classify some of the dodgy Chinese sponsorship Zhang's are probably over 750mio invested into Inter.

What I will say - lot of people confuse oak tree debt with being an inter debt. It isn't. Anything loaned from Great Horizons to Inter is "pass through" an inter debt but that's what's been being converted to equity anyway.

You're making his point for him. Suning have severely lacked in several decision making areas since taking ownership of this club. Marotta (and Ausilio) is the only thing keeping this club competitive.

thats like saying 'this rocketship is a disaster, thank god the engine keeps it flying'

can we not commend them on bringing marotta in and subsequently giving him a wide berth? I think, in terms of management, knownig when to be a hands off manager and letting a good person do their job without fucking around is probably one of the hardest skills in management, esp for inexperienced people.

It's a sincere question..I'm confused as to whether Dave thinks he's in a Juve thread (latest rumour is Motta to Juve), or calling us shit because of our financials, which is ridiculous to say the least. Was trying to clarify what he thinks is going on.

I wasn't referring to that post as Dave's post seem to be a post to a wrong thread.

I was referring to this

Ignore him, he probably works full time and still complains when his dad doesn't give him pocket money every week
and specially this
Atleast I am not paid by Suning to be their PR here and kiss their asses 24h a day.

Page 18 of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport details how Inter will earn up to €50m from winning the Scudetto this season, a key source of income ahead of an important summer transfer market.

The figures break down as follows:
  • €23.4m comes from Serie A and the TV rights for their first-place finish
  • circa €10m from UEFA for winning the Scudetto and
  • at least €12m from various sponsor bonuses, which could rise even further

Uefa will pay us for winning the Scudetto?
