So Thohir's '5 year plan' was to basically increase Inter's value and then sell it at a Profit.

A businessman indeed...

imo that's way better logic than 'I own the club because I love the club'.

Theres nothing wrong with that. Increased value = club in a better shape. Take that every time.

This sound promising so far. Thohir decision not only based on business for him only since he gathering money from all other places too and with the current politic situation in here those guy behind him need their money back asap. So he wouldnt miss this golden opportunity to cash in his investment.

Han should take a lesson from thohir, selling FIF with double prices to Chinese.

Suning stocks up 6,24% in the Chinese market thanks to Inter and the enthusiasm surrounding the take over
Dis is why they took over...
And too keep up the enthusiastic mood the Suning boss Zhang Jindong is very much ready to invest in Inter
Sauce: Sky

On Monday they will have a presser in Nanchino and Inter Channel is already there too transmit the historic event

Radrizzani, il consigliere italiano di Suning: "L'Inter diventerà grande"

That guy who is the Italian advisor to Suning and who suggested they go all in for Inter as buying a minority for such an ambitious group has little sense said that Suning is gonna make Inter great again...
They however won't weaken Jiangsu with loaning us their star men like Texeira and Ramires as they wanna be strong in the domestic front as well.
Possible entrance in the stock market is possible for Inter with clean numbers and no debts...

Ausilio says that Toure didn't make his medical for Inter as the mercato dealings are postponed as him and his staff and coworkers are traveling to China for the sale of shares and ownership between MM,ET and this Chinese group.
He admitted that Mancini likes Toure but they have FFP to respect and will move on the market with FFP in mind...
He also sees working for foreigners a positive experience to share knowledge between other cultures and stuff...

You forgot the part where he said Jiangsu still remain Sunings priority and inter are more of a medium to long term project.

Han should take a lesson from thohir, selling FIF with double prices to Chinese.

Thohir never spent his own money but a leveraged buyout, he just put his name on the contract as personal guarantee, what if Inter or the holding company fail to repay money. Share capital of ISC HK, Asian Sports Ventures and Nusantara Sports Ventures were all peppercorn, only AFTER he pledged the share of Inter Milan to Canadian pension fund, Thohir and his partner recapitalized ISC SpA to 75 million EURO and 398,821,580 HKD for ISC HK respectively. And without full financial report, it really not sure did the funding of recapitalization was just increasing debt of upstream holding company.

- - - Updated - - -

the move was comparable to Chelsea. Chelsea FC was in a heavy negative equity by keep borrowing money from the parent company Fordstam, until one day Abramovich finally turned the debt into shares. However, the line of credit did not come from Thohir but Canadian pension fund, Thohir was just more or less earn the profit by speculating . MM seem sold the share for nothing but invite Thohir to subscribe 75 million new share of Inter, which in turn these now "old share" worth more than that, as well as requiring Sunning to become the new line of credit (i.e. Sunning borrow new money to Inter to repay the loan from old shareholder) Yet except Sunning repay also the 230M loan to Goldman Sachs, as well as new fresh money NOT for financing , the club benefit moderately

Report on twitter claiming Suning will buy 68.55% for €263.56m. It's citing transfermarkt China as source. If it's true, the valuation won't be 750m but somewhere near 350m.

you can put that logo on my face if they make us strong and we topple Juve.

Look how money has made PSG and Man City massive. Imagine doing that with a club like Inter who are already known Worldwide and a great history. Suning are smart guys

i find it a bit ironic people still think money is the problem when we spent a fucking ridiculous amount in the last transfer window and finished fourth with the same number of points as carpi in the second half (if i recall correctly). qpr, rangers, newcastle, sampdoria etc... we've spent a laughable amount of money since 2011 fighting for third. spending money is one thing, spending it well is another.

we'll see how competent they are if this deal goes down. i'm just going to be skeptical until reason to think otherwise (based on the probability suning knows how to build/run a football club and navigate through italian politics). its one thing to know what to do, its another to know how to do it. its not necessarily that black and white though, we'll see what happens.

It all depends what happens with the debt. If they're buying the club for 263m euros + assuming debt, vs sayu 500m euros but no debt, its the same damn thing

Berlusconi just took a massive shite on Milan's dream investment.... :troll:

Berlusconi: 'Chinese ate babies!'
By Football Italia staff

Silvio Berlusconi caused outrage with his ‘joke’ about Chinese Communists eating babies. “And I’m supposed to give Milan to them?”

The President is currently in advanced negotiations to sell 70 per cent of the club to a Chinese conglomerate, which reportedly includes members of the Government.

However, he spoke to people after a political rally in Ostia, near Rome, and was filmed telling them about the situation.

“I said the Communist Chinese used to eat their babies. It’s true! It’s true!” Berlusconi said on video.

“They had a huge famine and children were dying as their mothers didn’t have the milk, so to stop the other children going hungry they’d boil them up and eat them.

“And I am supposed to give Milan to them?”

He then made a gesture with his hands as if to say ‘what has the world come to?’

Yes but we've had to sell big as well in able to finance these deals. You dont see PSG selling Veratti say to make way for Cabaye when he joined like we had to sell kova for kondogbia

SO this is happening, wow bit short notice tbh but oh well...

Erm does it impact FFP? I don't think it does because it still does not impact the club's income but I'm an idiot at this.

Sky now says that Suning is gonna take 80% and ET will have 20% for now not 30% like first predicted...
Yeah they gamble on this numbers...until it's official they are just predictions at best
